You can die again and again. But this time, loading time won't kill you.
The subscription pop-up in that website is very annoying, it covers half of the page...i swear i won't click wired.com again...
This kind of entertainment has become a "new normal" now.
After they filmed Game of Thrones.
And long before that, after they publish Playboy magazine.
The world has changed since then...
I know. I already have 3DS, PSP, and Vita as well. After RR7 i expected a better version (PS4 version to be exact). 3DS and Vita version aren't the upgrade i expected and i'm not interested in playing game on android device. I just don't like it.
Oh, by the way, a few years ago, a gaming website in my country interviewed Bandai Namco representatives about why there's no RR in PS4/XBO launch. They chuckled, then answered that they (Bandai Namco) had a discuss...
R7 265 (2GB, US$165 at launch) arguably on par with PS4 GPU (8GB). For the GPU on par with PS5/XSX, my guess is US$300-US$450 with 4/8GB VRAM.
2020. I want Ridge Racer 8!.
With Sony and Epic have worked closely on UE5, even mentioned that UE5 is built for PS5, i think this is also part of the deal, given Epic is 3rd party company and has many interests in other platforms.
Epic made features to harness PS5's SSD capability in UE5, and Sony pledge to make more games using UE5.
I've always taken a good care of my old consoles, especially the ones which haven't had a decent emulator yet (PS3, Xbox360) and weird ones (DS, 3DS).
Waiting for your article...
Isn't the screen too small?
It happened in PS3/X360 era, when several developers/publishers made "Western-style" videogames, or so they thought. They failed and they learned their lessons.
Hmm...i doubt my 1.8GHz CPU can do physics like that, it can barely run Cuphead
How could this thing running on a 1.6GHz CPU?
1. Higher frame rates. 120fps? 60? Yes of course, until the developers opt to not do that in favor of getting better graphics or physics. We'll always see 30fps or even below that in every generation.
2. Fluidity. Let alone 60fps, even playing Uncharted at 30fps is fluid as long as it's rock solid 30fps.
Not that i underestimate XSX, but what Phil said is very normative. How could he says we know nothing when he isn't showing anything.
Dualshock always an-all rounder, with it's d-pad position, is significantly better on fighting games. Xbox has better triggers, marginally better in racing and shooters.
Or by analogs :
PS = d-pad - 50 analog - 50 (win-win or lose-lose, very subjective)
Xbox = d-pad - 0 analog - 100 (win-lose, win for the analog)
I'd take PS because even the analog placement isn't as good as Xbox's, but that's because it's a ...
While i admit it's economical, i don't see any reason to think "I'm gonna buy this game for the next 5 years and the next five years after that".
As a gamer, i fear this policy only hold back the quality of the games. Game engine scalability isn't that simple. Once you make a cross-gen game, doesn't mean it will have the next-gen quality when you insert the disc to the next-gen console. At best, it will just have a "remaster quality",...
I have to admit, Mario is something else. I can't comprehend how they can make such level designs. Even Crash Bandicoot was nowhere near to Mario.
And Sony also isn't ambitious in making First Person Shooter anymore. They tried several times with Killzone but couldn't get the highest appreciation. Even they dropped Killzone for Horizon (that's a good thing though).
Now they're trying for open-world, they did it with Spiderman and now Ghost of Tsushima.
Unlike anybody else here, you speak like a true gamer, i like that!
I want to hear more about "designed for PlayStation 5". An everyday marketing or really taking full advantage of PS5 not found on the other systems?.
