High-end GPU needs high-end CPU, high-end PSU, and maybe high-end mainboard, high-end RAM and high-end SSDs. For many people, that's not as simple as "a US$499 upgrade".
It doesn't have anything to do with Sony.
PC is always ahead in technology, but console will set a standard what is going mainstream next.
I bet next-gen, after XSX and PS5 out, there will be more PC games require SSDs for recommended specification.

I really wish that was the case, but i really doubt it. Main Final Fantasy team isn't just "another team" on SE. When high profile Final Fantasy title is being develpoed, It involves many veterans (Nomura, Nojima, Kitase, Toriyama, Hamauzu, & Uematsu). Yea, they're not that good in regeneration.

Native 4K isn't a must for me, even sub 4K still look very good, i'd trade native 4k with better graphic or better performance anytime.

The battery wasn't bad at all and being a portable, it had no obligation to have a TV out. Removing OLED panel also to cut production cost i heard, the slim version not only slimmer but also cheaper.

Some people prefer mainstream muliplatform titles like COD, FIFA, or GTA.
Some prefers Battle Royale, MMO, Indies or even Mobile Games.
While it's true Sony's titles only small amount compared to all games released, they are on the top list when it comes to action-cinematic genre, which i (and maybe many people) prefer most. My most favourite games on PS3 and PS4 belong to Sony. It's not a fanboyism, it's a preference.
That's the beauty of a competition. Imagine AMD didn't develop Ryzen, maybe Intel still dominating mainstream processor with Core-i3 still using 2 cores-4 threads even today.
They're all good. But i think they are too predictable. Look at Guerilla, suddenly they make Horizon after Killzone, Sucker Punch make Tsushima after Infamous, and Santa Monica, when we we thought God of War was finished, they rehaul everything in it.
He was a Sony person. Once.
When Sony let PS3 users to cross play with Steam users, he made a PS3 version on Portal 2 significantlly better than X360 version.
So this guy's opinion and behavior is purely based on his own interest.

The trailer doesn't show anything. I don't understand why people being (too) hyped by this, apart the developer is Obsidian, a respected developer.
As a fan of DQ i intend to keep the game as long as possible whichever the console i play. Relying on subscribtion that the game may disappear anytime is not my thing, at least specifically for DQ.
