Only buying EA, Activision, Nintendo, or Take2 can match this acquisition...or...buying Sega, Namco, Capcom, Square Enix all at once.
Sega thought that too with Persona 5, but look at the sales. If it's good, people will buy it.
And it's Final Fantasy, a series with traditional millions of fans. Believe me it won't be as niche as you think.
Well, then i hope they'll make it with less distraction lol
Never sold on XIII because no field zone on screenshots, trailers, or anything (i'm confused at that time). It turned out to be okay though.
XV was a rollercoaster, too many overhauls within the development time. Side missions very distractive.
For XVI, as long as the development is running smoothly (i don't mean fast), i'm sure it's gonna be okay. FF series is still kinda good and well respected RPGs whatever happens.
I just hope it won't be an openworld. Too much distraction.
I think more or less yes. But fortunately, it is a cross gen games that usually only apply when PS5 still a new thing. Meanwhile, XSS will be there for entire generation.
One thing i know is when Sony is doing an event, MS will likely to respond the next day. And this isn't the first time they let their former employees to do that dirty work, usually on twitter. Disgusting.
I really wish Jaqen H'ghar actor somehow appear in this game. I really mean it.
Final Fantasy with a real dark story and scene. That's a bold move.
I don't understand. So all this time software & hardware are never integrated?.
We have discussed this many times, this kind of opinion is useless right now, clickbait...
@crazyCoconuts
Uncharted 3 and TLOU only 2 years apart. Those two titles were developed by different teams. But things have gone differently after that. Amy Hennig & Bruce Straley have left.
I want a surprise. A good surprise. Something beyond my comfort-zone-prediction. "Uncharted" in space, Final Fantasy XVI, Ridge Racer 8, Death Stranding sequel, PS2 enhanced backward compatibility, PS5 only US$399,......etc
Kemco, Dataeast, Sunsoft, Natsume, etc.
Part of my childhood.
That's because those games are made with PS4/XBO in mind. Switch versions are made long after that, very different projects.
It's not that the S can run the games or not. The question is "won't they hold back the quality of the game if they become the lowest comon denomimator?".
PS4's version of Yokai Watch just more or less the same with Switch version because Level5 made it with Switch in mind. I don't wanna nextgen multipl...
That's what i feared when i first heard of Lockhart.
On purpose or not, MS potentially holding back gaming development because Lockhart is the lowest comon denominator. After that, XSX will look like an overkill console that can run any games 4k60RT.
Let's say a title runs 4k/60 on Series X, and 2k/60 on Series S with same setting.
For now, it's just marketing hype. I'll believe if it really deliver the promise.
My 1st choice is still PS5, but honestly i'd be happier if Sony went this route too. Making a lite version of PS5, 1080p/1440p resolution with Disc Player, priced at 299 or 349. 4K is a waste of resource.
MS's offer is undeniably good, but i love Sony's exclusives more, while gamepass is good and quite cheap, i don't like being deadlined to play the games i like. I don't have that subscription mentality.
With rumored only 4TF, i'm not sure it can even handle next gen games with 1080p. I'm just...not sure...or can it?.
I know X1X is overkill for 1080p gaming. But series S at 1/3 XSX's power and targetting the same complexness minus 4k, can it really do that?
Personally, not at all. How could you say that?.
I never played Elder Scroll, Fallout, Doom, Wolfenstein or other Bethesda's IPs. I don't like Western RPGs and First Person gameplay from the start.
But yes, i sympathize with fellow Playstation fans who might not be able to play those IPs in the future.
