At first i thought Dualsense copied Xbox's controller . But when i see them side by side, NO, they're totally different.
Dualsense has slimmer body (totally different!), longer legs, classic d-pad and it's place remain unchanged. If anything Dualsense copied is the DS4.
Better looking games? I know what you mean...
Cerny or not, i really enjoy when the technical people share their explanation.
"You are talking about the lower spec matching the higher spec's performance? Do you have an example of that ever happening in history?"
Again, you missed the point for the 2nd time, what's on your brain? what should i do with it.....
Ok. If you insist. Yes, i have. In my opinion, the gaming performance (on multiplatform titles) XBO's 1.34TF+768 GPU cores is generally on par with PS4's 1.84TF+1152 GPU cores. Happy now?.
I'm not worried at all if Mark Cerny to be fired or not, or whether PS5 will never be on par with Xbox. Just clear your head out of fanboyism then you can really digest what i'm talking about.
Hmmm. I see you missed my points, but that's okay.
That was a long time ago, and Sony hasn't made any bluffing after that...for years...After releasing PS4 all they talked was games, VR, and PS4Pro. I think they've learned their lesson.
And the only thing Sony has done for PS5 now is Cerny's deep dive talking about how PS5 works in technical language, not something in exaggeration, and Dualsense.
XSX : Go for raw power!
PS5 : Eliminate bottleneck!
If PS5 really catch up XSX in performance, then Cerny is a true genius. You can't go wrong with raw power, but if one succeed in eliminating bottleneck to make it head to head with raw power, that's really something.
At first my impression on this controller is a bit weird i think. Then i see it over and over again i kinda like it. Well, as long as the d-pad and the analog are in the same places as usual then i'm fine with it.
I hope they make that all black and offer it as the default. The black and white controller reminds me to...Mass Effect???
Maybe he agreed with Cerny that GPU speed>GPU CU. Fewer CUs + faster speed > more CUs + lower speed. Assuming the workload on CPU isn't always 100%, the GPU can run on it's peak at 2.23GHz. That makes PS5 can reach 10.28TF most of the time.
It's giving me the impression that the more CUs, the more difficult the "GPU handling" that in practice, utilizing GPU with 52CUs at the same time + 1.825Ghz is only possible on paper?. Hence to reach 12TF is...
Even it's still alpha, i don't see any prospective in terms of next-gen quality in it.
That's a bold statement!
OH! No...! Not 1st person again...
It depends on Phil's mood i think...
Q : Phil, Sony has announced their lineups for PS5 how about the lineups for Series X?
A : Our goal is to reach wider audiences with Game Pass
Ummm...Sony always deliver amazing games from generation to generation. For Playstation owners, it's something to be taken for granted. Something they don't need to question. Those amazing games...will eventually come.
With the disaster Xbox One reveal years ago, i think Phil deserves to be happy, at least for now. They didn't blunder, got the specifications right, at least it's not a bad first step for them so i can see he's happy now.
I know that already. It's normal for the manufacturers to sell consoles with somewhat "insufficient" storage capacity at launch to keep the price as low as possible. You want 2TB at launch? it's going to be super expensive for most people.
Worry not. While you maybe right, by the time FFVIIR2 is out, PS5/XSX will have 2TB (or even more) SKU at the same price or maybe lower than the price at launch.
Xbox Backward compatibility is not intended to eat PlayStation market share. It is intended to prevent Xbox owners to not go to other consoles.
