No. Are you some kind of authority on not understanding an obvious joke?
I want to see sales data on hotcakes so I can confirm that they’re really selling as well as people always claim.
I think the massive file size is what’s preventing them from shipping it physically. They would need to print 3 discs to fit the whole game. I guess they figured that wasn’t practical or worth the investment.
The blood moon is about keeping enemies in the world. Otherwise there would be no threats if you’ve killed all the enemies and they never returned.
It may have RPG elements, but if there’s no turn-based combat system then I don’t consider it a true RPG. I’d like to see the Final Fantasy series return to its roots. If Square wants to make action games in the Final Fantasy series, that’s fine, just make them spinoffs. Dragon Quest 11 is a good example of a recent RPG that stuck to its roots without switching genres.
The previous games had so many RPG elements that even those were essentially RPG’s with cars instead of people. RPG elements have crept into most every genre. That’s not inherently a bad thing though. Unfortunately the actual RPG genre has been watered down into lame action games with RPG elements, probably for the sake of “accessibility.”
Just digital.
If true, that is great. That was the main thing I wanted that I felt was lacking in BotW.
Dungeons or no dungeons? That’s all I want to know.
Or he could kidnap a princess and trade her for a ransom of 10 mil.
It was a way of combating the game rental market. Publishers didn’t want people to be able to rent a game and beat it during the rental period, so they jacked up the difficulty to entice renters to buy the game. This isn’t just a random theory I dreamed up. Insiders from that era have spoken up about this in interviews and documentaries.
It wasn’t a launch title. It released more than a year after PS4 was released.
The d-pad and face buttons look awkwardly placed in the upper corners. Are they more comfortable to use than they look?
I wish I could put out a memo to the entire world to stop using the word “clunky” to describe things in video games, since it doesn’t really mean anything.
Pretty rare for a top N64 list to exclude Mario Kart 64.
Those were on Philips CDi.
This is what happens when you fall under Microsoft’s umbrella, more delays and less output. Sometimes I wonder if Microsoft buys publishers to stop them from producing as much.
It’s far more likely they’ll make Elden Ring 2 instead of Bloodborne 2, unless Sony is willing to toss a truck load of money their way for the latter.
This article would have a point if you had to download the game in its entirety when you purchase the disc. But since the data is on the disc and just gets transferred to the hard-drive, I don’t think that qualifies as an IOU. I’m aware that patches and dlc updates kind of muddy the waters a bit, but my point still stands.
And the only reasons they make you transfer data to the hard-drive is so the disc drive doesn’t wear out quickly and also to speed up load times.
Also, I’...
Does Sony pay you for comments like this?
