I’ve played every Souls game including Demon’s Souls. Bought it day one of release in US. You can see in the comparison video enemies taking multiple hits to kill in the original. Meanwhile in the remake footage every enemy goes down in one hit (not counting backstabs and parry counters). It makes me wonder if they reduced the difficulty or changed the flow of combat, which I hope isn’t the case. They also should have shown some footage of what the HUD looks like. I can’t imagine having no HU...
The remake looks great visually but I am concerned with how it will play compared to the original. All the non-boss enemies are killed in one hit, which shouldn’t happen unless you’re leveled up a lot. Also, it’s weird they didn’t show any icons like stamina and health meters, etc. It makes me wonder if the final game will have any hud displays.
Those were both first party published.
It’s not true analog movement like the n64 version. You still have to push a button to run. It just feels nicer using the circle pad than the d pad.
It plays much better on a 3DS using the circle pad.
Demon’s Souls is great. I also recommend Dark Souls 1, which I think is the pinnacle of the Souls games.
Oh, they did the UK style of dating (day, month, year). I thought it was December.
Weird that we have to wait until December of next year for this. They must need time to finish the Bowser’s Fury part.
Without Galaxy 2 I’ll pass.
Did you not like Sonic 3 and Sonic & Knuckles? Those were released after Sonic CD.
Once you get above 60 fps, can anyone really tell the difference? Isn’t there a limit on how many fps the human eye can notice?
Microsoft didn’t publish this, and it’s multi plat.
The “any” key, obviously.
Oh c’mon, two player duels online would be cool.
Best RPG ever made. Plus it introduced the new game plus feature that’s so prevalent in gaming now.
If no one offers more, I’ll buy it for $500.
It cured my cancer.
Yes, and an HD remaster of the Mario Galaxy games. Do it Nintendo.
It’s funny how Red Dead’s sales look bad compared to GTA 5’s, but 32 million is still a huge number.
Okay cool. That has me less worried now.
