It’s simple, they’re using the term “native” incorrectly.
Their only console that didn’t have backward compatibility was the PS4. I’m not counting the PS1 since there was nothing prior to be backward compatible with.
@TheNamelessOne
How did Sony give up on backward compatibility when PS5 is fully backward compatible with PS4? Do you not think before you type?
I’d like to see someone explain why you’re getting downvotes. You’re correct. If software is running on native (original) hardware, then it’s not being emulated. If it is being emulated, then it’s not running on native hardware. “Native emulation” seems to be a bit of an oxymoron.
I don’t care about the racial aspect of this one bit. All I want from this remake is to see the boulder punch back.
We weren’t shown nearly enough to form any conclusions about what to expect from the game.
Part 2 is significantly better.
I would like to see Sony add a fourth tier of PS Plus for people who just want to be able to play games online without any of the perks like monthly games, store discounts, or anything like that, and it should cost $20 annually, $30 maximum. There’s no way I’m paying $80 just to play games online. Even the original $60 fee was too much, and I would often wait for sales to re-up my subscription.
Water itself isn’t actually wet. Water makes things wet when it comes into contact with a solid object.
@Rabbit
Pokemon is owned by a corporation called The Pokemon Company. Nintendo owns some stock in that company but not a controlling interest.
Probably because Nintendo doesn’t own Pokémon.
It would be nice to get a port of Wario Land VB. It’s a shame it’s been stuck on that system all this time.
The next big change for the series should be getting rid of the limited-lives system. It’s archaic and pointless. Also, the purple coins weren’t really needed. They could have just made regular coins the only currency you collect to make purchases.
The next God of War should be a midget. That would be hilarious.
Edit: original headline described this as the worst version of the trilogy. Apparently they changed it because of my comment. Such is my power and influence.
Worst version of Arkham Knight? Yes, easily. Worst version of Asylum and City? Debatable, but probably not the worst versions.
A translated version of this game on Switch Online would be nice, and it would add a lot value to the Expansion Pak service.
I also wouldn’t mind him returning as a villain in future Mario games, since that’s how he started. Bowser doesn’t always have to be the big bad.
I was just about to say that til I saw your comment. That series is underrated.
@VariantAEC
First off, you’re using a different term than me. I was talking about the use of the term “native emulation.” But you’re using the term “native support.” Maybe that’s the same thing. I’m not sure.
So from what I gather, “native emulation” means emulation that doesn’t require a download. In computer terminology, I’ve always thought of “native” as implying original hardware, or at least original components.
