@kitsune
That's a remake. Pcz is referring to the N64 original.
I'm surprised no one has used the Sega Master System's "destroy the world" function. You'd think just one person would have used it but nope.
Actual.
As an Xbox One owner, I'm happy to report to you that RotTR was released as a polished and finished game with no need for a day-one patch surprisingly.
That's impressive that literally every Xbox One owner in Japan purchased a copy of Black Ops 3. I kid, I kid.
Agreed. The biggest battery waster is probably the touch pad since it's "always on" just waiting for user input. An easy fix would be for Sony to release a firmware update allowing users to quickly and easily turn off the touch sensitive aspect of the touch pad when it isn't needed and have it function only as a button. This would dramatically increase the battery life, probably by several hours.
Into the ground?
The ability to craft over-worlds and whole games would be nice, as would checkpoints.
Agreed. Physical media is what distinguishes console gaming from PC gaming. It's a MAJOR part of what makes a console a true console. I game strictly on consoles and would never buy a console with no physical media. I'm sure there are millions of other gamers who wouldn't either.
I'm convinced Konami is run by insane people.
Gamespot's 7 out of 10 is not a bad review. A 7 from them is good.
Her stories were nothing special so I don't see why they couldn't be topped by her successor. Hopefully 4 has a great story.
Creating an overpriced, Vita-only memory card was just a shady way for Sony to split the Vita into two essential components: the Vita itself and the mandatory memory card, which is needed to boot up most games and to save game data, which is absurd since Vita games ship on cartridges and should allow game saves on the actual game cartridges. Proprietary cards do nothing to prevent hacking and piracy. That's just a fairy tale Sony sold to the public so they could bait and switch people by ...
I'm quite impressed with how Microsoft has turned around the X1 since the botched reveal of the console and all the ridiculous drm and policies associated with it. I look forward to getting that sexy blue Forza model X1 on Sept. 15.
Now that they won this award, the judges will be placed on janitor duty at a Konami pachinko parlor since they're no longer useful.
Same here. I've been a huge fan of the Souls games since I got Demon's Souls on its release day. Dark Souls topped it and did what I thought would be impossible and overtook Super Metroid as my favorite game. I'm amazed Dark Souls exists and was allowed to be made in today's gaming climate of casualized experiences and over-the-top spectacle over substance.
I have to agree. I've had a PS4 since Dec. 2013 and the only compelling exclusives I've played are Bloodborne and Resogun. There are others that are decent but nothing special. I keep looking at what X1 is offering now and for the rest of the year and I'm wondering why I don't have that console instead. So I decided to trade the PS4 for the upcoming blue Forza X1. I'll get a PS4 later when it builds a more respectable first-party library.
It's only a war in the minds of fanboyish corporate soldiers who take gaming to unhealthy extremes. In reality it's just three corporations (that's right, Nintendo counts too) competing with each other. Competition is good for gamers, and all three consoles have their merits.
There are many ways to fuck up this remake, but if they design like they did with the original remake of part 1 on Gamecube, it could be fantastic. I'm hoping for the best.
Are you the president of Konami? Cuz that sounds like something he would say.
