A new 2D Metroid would be great. The last 2D Metroid released on a console was Super Metroid more than 20 years ago.
I'm fine with that, but put some REAL dungeons in the next one please. And hire better story writers and voice actors next time. That is all.

The new patch has significantly improved the frame rate. Also, the game wasn't originally conceived or optimized for Switch, hence the fps issue in the first place.
So in other words, the game is a Giantbomb?
Big improvement, very cool.
I'm pretty sure stores don't accept returns on gaming hardware for the reason you just stated. Amusing theory though.
Very similar to the PS3 game.
Hopefully stereoscopic 3D is included in Wipeout HD.
Probably quite well with Mario Kart releasing in April.
PS4 is kinda killing it with exclusives and console exclusives though. Xbox One on the other hand...
Blast processing also helped.
Sony will probably wait and see how it pans out with Switch, and if it succeeds well enough, Sony might design a Switch-like hybrid of their own that's more powerful. I'd be on board with that if they support it properly.
The author is just reviewing the console itself, not the current and/or future software library.
The word "controversial" in the headline should have been "kinda funny" instead, at least just for comedic value.
I believe Nintendo said video capture is coming in a future update. I don't know when though.
I understand wanting new ip's but are you suggesting Nintendo should also NOT make a new Smash Bros game since it's not a new ip? It would make good business sense to make another one since there's a big demand for them and they sell very well.
You can skip it everytime it happens.
The Xbox is pretty much dead in Japan so it almost never gets Japanese games, and most Japanese publishers of niche titles like this don't see the point in porting to Xbox just for the small Western audience since they'd make little to no money in return for the investment and labor.
It's most popular in North America but it's a pretty big deal in Japan also.
I meant made specifically for a console as opposed to a handheld.
