It would actually be wise for Microsoft to support the Switch in limited ways due to the system's portable nature. Halo Master Chief Collection with online play and cross play with Xbox would be a good thing to release on Switch, or other older games.

If all those elements are in Minecraft, then they must have been added post-launch. I'm going off my recollection of what Minecraft was several years ago when all you did was basically build stuff. I haven't kept track of what's been added since then. If somewhere along the line, they added those elements you mentioned, then I stand corrected. I guess it's a game now, but just barely.

That's a nice definition you made up but it's not totally accurate. An actual game, video or otherwise, requires challenges to overcome and the prospect of victory if challenges are successfully completed. Minecraft doesn't have any game conditions whatsoever.
