Speaking of Scalebound, I distinctly remember having disagreements on N4G with some xbox only gamers who swore up and down that Scalebound wound wipe the floor with Horizon Zero Dawn. I vehemently sided with Guerilla and Aloy. With the way some on N4G behave I wouldn't be surprised if some of those arguing in favor of Scalebound would still say Scalebound is the better game.
Curious thing that a so called AAAA development studio needs help with game development. Maybe drop a couple of those self assessed AA's and just call The Initiative a AA studio. A double A studio would need help.

For some people perhaps, but I don't believe for most. The truth is, as it is in many industries, oftentimes the large corporations pay the least, as it is considered a resume builder for many people, who don't want to work in the high pressure environment for long to avoid burnout.
I work in the medical field, and hospitals like Yale, Weill Cornell/NY Presbyterian, Beth Israel Deaconess etc etc often pay less than many smaller hospitals, because ...

Deathloop is a treasure. Haven't gotten to Dishonored yet (it's sitting in my gamepass backlog), but I'm loving Deathloop. It's premise is fascinating and as usual Arkane nails the execution.

They paid a lot for that Deathloop exclusivity. They would promote the hell out of it. That would have paid a fraction of that for Kena, but despite that I've seen plenty of kena promotion regardless.
