It means Insomniac will keep being perhaps the busiest and most productive studio in the industry. I don't know how they do it, but I appreciate their hustle and skill.
My only worry is not being able to take time off from work to play it.

I am doing the same. I managed to secure a ps5 launch day and a series x was delayed in shipment but arrived two weeks after launch. I never thought/imagined the shortages would last this long and maybe until at least this time next year? So fortunate and happy to have both consoles and enjoying the games. Next year looks really strong for both Sony and Microsoft. Horizon, GT7, God of War, Stalker II, Redfall, Starfield? I'm in on all of that and much much more in 2022.
I didn't see much trolling in the comments. As someone who owns a ps5 and series x, I'm pretty happy with what both companies are doing so far. I skipped the xbox one so gamepass gives me a chance to play a lot of those games I missed out on last gen. The ps5 is filling my fix for "next gen" single player exclusives....loving games like Miles Morales, Demon's Souls, Returnal, Ratchet, etc. and next year is looking stellar with games like Horizon, GT7, and God of War. ...

The fact is there are exclusives in every industry, especially entertainment. If you want to watch a certain movie, you have to have a certain streaming service. You want to watch a certain sport? You need to be subscribed to the right tv provider or have the right device to have access. And so on and so on. Gaming is no different, and to think it should be is ignoring the fact that in entertainment exclusives are what drive sales, it also drives competition and man...
If you say something is incredible, you shouldn't really have to explain why it's incredible, should you? Shouldn't it's incredibleness be obvious?

I just want the Wolverine game to be complete insanity, and I believe Insomniac will deliver that. I'm primarily hoping it will be a game that children will not even be allowed to watch, let alone play. Too brutal.
1. I am encouraged by the carnage and bloody hands shown in the trailer that Insomniac is taking the more brutal route.
2. I do not believe Insomniac would make a pitch to Marvel and Sony to tackle a Wolverine game and then make a game that is not true to the essence of the character and what they know fans want.
3. Insomniac hasn't put a foot wrong in a very long time and they are an incredible studio.

I would say there is a zero percent chance that if you own a copy of Uncharted 4 and Lost Legacy you will be getting a free ps5 upgrade. I still have my Uncharted 4 and The Lost Legacy on disc sitting on my shelf....I'm just hoping this package costs 39.99 for ps5 and they don't try charging 69.99 for it. I would pay 40 bucks to replay the duo on ps5, I would not pay 70 though.

With Microsoft set to introduce streaming via series x servers, even xbox one owners will get a chance to experience series x/s games, so as long as you have a decent internet speed and don't mind 1080 p (and probably some lag now and again), the older hardware will not be an impediment on the design of the developers. They will be limited by what they can achieve on the series s when compared to the series x or high spec pc gpu, but not the last gen. I think.

From what they showed at the initial reveal, I believe Redfall as of now is targeting Summer 2022, so you would expect it to be pretty far along by now.
I agree with you and disagree with you because I think a wolverine game will be incredible. But I would love a Black Panther game and Captain America would be cool as hell too. Hell, I'd like to wreck a city as Hulk. Bring them all. The more the merrier.
