Hmmm...Horizon Zero Dawn is looking absolutely spiffing on my "five year old pc". In fact, it looks better than most games I play on my less than one year old very capable pc. Strange. I'm guessing Spider-Man and God of War are going to look, and play, pretty spiffing also, but hey, what do I know.
Also, this guy seems oblivious to the fact that the vast majority of pc gamers game on pc's that are low to mid range pc's, and not bleeding edge machines. ...
Hey
Does anyone really care? I mean, realistically, the xbox one x will be on the shelves for 6 months to one full year before Sony announces their next console, which will far exceed what Microsoft has done with the X, then we'll be seeing silly articles about what Microsoft's next console move will be, and how oh how will they counter the ps5. Stop it already and just enjoy the games.

Yes, thank you. It's funny because after I made this comment I went to see if there was any news about Wild and I found another article on it

I had checked before E3 and heard nothing, but this is all good news.
They're both important, but for one Sony's own event is all about Sony where they don't have to share the spotlight with other companies, and two, it's right before the Christmas holiday. There should be a big push there.

For me, any console always has been, and probably always will be, about the games. Sony and Nintendo have true compelling exclusives. Microsoft does not. And the "exclusives" they do have, are getting long in the tooth....they need fresh ip from their first party studios, and some things may be coming, but they certainly won't be here anytime soon, so xbox is essentially releasing new hardware hoping that gamers want to play 3rd party titles and indies on it?...
With Ancel presumably working on Beyond Good and Evil 2, I'm wondering what happened to Wild, and if that game is dead....that would be a real shame.
LOL...new hardware and no new first party ip announced does not equate to "winning". Yikes. They really are this desperate for any good news at all.
It's 2017, and yet Microsoft's messaging is as muddled as it ever was. Hard to believe.
I still can't believe the braintrust at Microsoft decided sticking two consoles next to each other on the shelves, one named Xbox One X and the other Xbox One S was a good idea. Confusion reigns, especially for uninformed non gamers who want to buy systems for loved ones/as gifts and will have no clue what the difference is, and even when having it explained by salespeopl...
No Phil, Scalebound was killed by you. Lay the blame where it belongs.

I feel you, but seriously, Sony has so much in the pipeline right now, I can wait for reveals from Sucker Punch and FromSoftware. At some point they need to narrow down the focus and give us info on the games closer to release, which is what I felt they did. Presumably, games like Days Gone and God of War are much closer to being finished than Sucker Punches' Ip and Bloodborne II, if that is what is coming from FromSoftware, and the focus should be on those titles we w...

It is all a bit strange...it's almost as if these strange folks are forgetting what Sony just gave us in the first 6 months of 2017, while simultaneously forgetting everything Sony still has coming, while also forgetting we have much to look forward to relating to unannounced titles from Sony's first party studios, as well as studios like FromSoftware. I applaud Sony for taking a breather....I really don't want to see more games that won't release for another ...
I certainly hope Bioware delivers with this one...so many games I was highly anticipating in recent years (such as Watch_Dogs, Destiny, The Division, etc. etc.) looked so promising on initial reveal but have ultimately gone on to disappoint me personally....so I'm thrilled with what I saw with Anthem but I hope it doesn't turn out to let me down like those others did.
Too many clicks. I refuse to participate.
Apparently, people are forgetting the o.g. xbox one is the "lowest common denominator". As long as the majority this generations gamers are playing on systems that released in 2013, I'm really not sure what people are expecting.
God of War did it for me. I liked Anthem as well, and of course, Metro and Beyond Good and Evil 2, but I can only give Beyond so much credit when they didn't show gameplay, and Metro was in engine so we shall see.
k, thanks.
I was amazed that the game was announced and the man supposedly leading the development charge had no clue the game existed, much less that he was tasked with working on it.
2 steps? Might as well say they're miles behind and be done with it.

I don't know man...I'm seeing Kratos with heavily bandaged forearms from where the blades left their mark in the trailers, so.....he might be through with them? They might be through with him?
