This is very exciting.
I've got a top 3 I've been waiting for for quite some time
TLOU Part II
Ghost of Tsushima
Cyberpunk 2077
Every great game over and above those coming this year (and there are many) is absolute gravy.
What is this bullshot??
Also, since when is Halo a standard for graphical fidelity?
?? The virus has already "dictated"....Micros oft will not attend E3. Also, there is nothing "creative" about staging a televised event to show off new hardware/software. This was always going to happen. Microsoft has a product they want to sell which they want you to buy.....did you think they were just not going to show anything before releasing the product?? As soon as this virus started spreading, you can be assured every major corporation on Earth started making c...
Accurate readings in parts per million, micrograms, milligrams aren't going to cost you 5 bucks.
I've got news for you....if he built it so it's effective at removing particles from the air he and his child breathe, then he's going outside with it. Otherwise there is no need for the functional digital readout of air quality. If accurate, that costs real money.
@babdivad
I agree. I will happily put my money down for the series x, because Microsoft apparently really has not compromised on it at all. It's what I was looking for, and that's coming from someone who skipped the xbox this gen because I felt from the start it was a compromise. My ps4 was a day one buy. The ps5 is a day one buy for me. The series X is also a day one buy.
I also like the direction Microsoft has gone with many things they are doing mid...
@phoenixwing
It's not "just" hdmi 2.1 and those improvements, there are also big improvements like Variable refresh rate, freesync, atsc 3.0 tuners (free over the air 4k local television stations, with improved audio and format), eARC, Auto Low Latency Mode, dynamic HDR, quick media switching, quick frame transport, etc. etc. There is a lot in there for both video and audio quality improvements. It's a comprehension improvement on older tech.

The proper, entire quote you responded to is "Anyone with any sense would want to play God of War, if only to experience it and see if it's as good as everyone says it is", not "Anyone with any sense would want to play God of War".
I thought I made that clear enough.
I missed your quotation marks....I understand.
@theshredded
Ghost of Tsushima looks like a love letter to feudal Japan. I doubt it could be "forgettable", as you suggest. The tone and visuals alone will disallow that, and if the story is nailed, it's got classic written all over it. At least for those who love that game type.
Are you talking about Chernobyl or TLOU?
@genericgamer01
Stop blaming other people who are no different than yourself. It's weak.
Every time I think about what GTA 6 will look and play like on the next generation of consoles, I salivate. This has nothing to do with the article topic, but it should. What Rockstar will achieve with the capabilities of the new hardware will no doubt be astonishing. The first gameplay trailer for GTA 6 will kill the internet.
Merc has been killing that Ferrari. Lewis has been crushing Vettel, Leclerc, and Ferrari.
I love F1. I like Ferrari and Mercedes both. I am looking forward to the season, and what Red Bull can do this year as well.
I have spoken.
@echo
Anyone with any sense would want to play God of War, if only to experience it and see if it's as good as everyone says it is. The most recent iteration, especially. I would say the same for a game like Legend of Zelda, or a game like Gears of War or Mass Effect when they first came to the xbox 360 and weren't on the playstation. To miss out on such games, is to miss out on something substantially special. I don't know by your statement if you have a playstation ...
@genkins
When you consider that the gpu in the series X is even more powerful than a GTX 2080 super, which currently sells for $699, and the cpu has been compared to one currently priced at $300, I don't see the series X selling for 499. Right off the bat, the gpu and cpu make the console a monster, even factoring in the breaks the company will get with buying bulk quantities. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't see it, unless Microsoft is willing to eat massive losses up fro...
The new Vizio's look like they'll be a great value, as usual.
The new tv's purpose wouldn't be for 8k 120 fps, but rather 4k 60 fps (or higher), 1440p 90 fps (or higher), 1080p 120 fps, and variations of those scenarios.
2020 is both sucking and managing to be absolutely brilliant at the same time. We're getting revolutionary new tech advancements in gaming (pc and console), new hdmi format, televisions with variable refresh, auto low latency, eArc, ntsc 3.0 tuners, etc. etc, av receivers with the updated capabilities to go along with the tv's, so much more......yet we suffer with a pandemic which threatens life and business to what degree is not known at this stage. Could be global catastrophe, or ...
