"If Inside Xbox Dulled Our Next-Gen Expectations For PS5, Unreal Engine 5 Just Revived Them"
I'm not sure you could write a more accurate headline. Bang. Spot. On.
Let the games begin.....
@abizzel1
Let's assume what you say is true, the fact is both the Series X and the PS5 would still be better off upscaling to 4k, and using the processing power to accomplish other tasks.....4k is very resource heavy, and with everything else the next gen is trying to implement, including ray tracing, it won't be great for them to target native 4k and not be able to deliver 60 fps because of it.
@abriael
I'm pumped about Ghost of Tsushima as well, but personally I'm more excited for the next gen and the possibilities it brings. It's hard for me to compare one game, no matter what game it is, to future changes to the entire gameplay experience that is the promise of any new generation.
@sicksincesix
I like the way you think!
China bears direct responsibility because they tried to silence medical professionals who tried desperately to warn the public and the world. However, even if China had been completely transparent and warned the world immediately, it is not realistic to expect that much would be different. It isn't like global travel would have been shut down...this isn't the first virus to arise out of China, and even given dire warnings and predictions no leader would have been eager to shut down ...
The only thing more that I would wish for from Ghost of Tsushima would be 60 fps, but will have to wait for ps5 for that, unfortunately.
@legoisawesome
This poor critter has no life.....
That's pretty dope.
I think the article misses the point. Visuals are great, but gamers want new game design with more immersive environments, better AI......different ways to play. The next generation is about far more than pushing pixels, once it is in full swing and games are being made specifically for the new tech and developers come to grips with what is possible, it should be about delivering gameplay and environments that to this point just couldn't be delivered due to hardware limitations. That w...
This, ladies and gentlemen, is what happens when brainless fanboys try to drag their console of choice to the top of the ladder, with no ammunition. We get articles about 3rd party titles that will be available on every platform imaginable as the hope and savior of an as to date underperforming platform. Yikes.
I'm very tired of marketing speak. The developers talk far too much, and show far too little. If a picture is worth a thousand words, how much is video worth? Sure would be nice to see some sustained gameplay action. Stop talking, and start showing. Or just shut the f up.
@caddytrek
I'll be honest with you......................that car salesman would be getting a pretty severe beating.
All I hear are excuses. Typical from this type.
All I hear is excuses........
I'm just glad to see a developer focused on designing a game for pc and next gen consoles exclusively.
EA = Extraordinary A$$holes
This event was comparable to a wet fart.
I watched the gameplay trailer. I'm still waiting to see gameplay.
I think the last Madden I bought was 2008, and I'm a football freak, so that is saying something. This latest installment, the very little they showed, did nothing for me, so apparently it will be at least another year and a half until I consider buying Madden again.
Showing your junk off earlier than the other guy isn't "winning" if the other guy shows up later and your girl likes his junk better........
