I appreciate the work of the developers, and of Microsoft, on putting together the presentation, but it underdelivered to me. Very little gameplay, and nothing that stood out and impressed. I hope the games we will see from both Sony and Microsoft first party studios do more to suggest something special is on the horizon, because this just didn't do it for me at all.

Sony has seriously f'ed this up, but let's be honest......as soon as they show the console and a few games, if it looks dope and the games look great nobody will give a crap.

You are aware that some percentage of Vikings were homosexual, right? Just like any other people. But you choose to get bent out of shape about it? What are you hiding?
Exciting stuff....looking forward to it.

Great news for a change!!
This pleases me :)
That is very well done, imo.
As someone who plans to buy both next gen consoles, I agree with the assessment about Sony's first party studios.....they are exceptional and produce outstanding games. I am also looking forward to what Microsoft's recently acquired/opened studios will bring, the real difference for me is that I know Sony's first party studios will deliver great single player content and that is my personal preference. I'm not sure Microsoft will focus as much on single player content, but I...
Microsoft is doing themselves no favors with the naming scheme for their consoles. For the uninitiated, trying to make sense of what console to buy must be confusing. Xbox One, Xbox One S, Xbox One X, Xbox Series X....will they add another one to that also? If I were a parent who knew nothing about gaming but wanted to buy my kid a console, just by their naming convention Microsoft would be upsetting me, as there is nothing in the naming to suggest which console is the latest, newest, most...
The correct answer is plenty. It will cost plenty.
Twitter didn't do anything wrong. People are the problem.
The proof is in the pudding......we need to see gameplay. We need a technical look into what both consoles are capable of, showing both machines strengths and weaknesses. Until that happens, the speculation continues.
Same here. I need both ps5 and series x. My last Microsoft console was the 360. As a ps4 only guy this gen, I'm back on board with what Microsoft is bringing to the table for next gen. I am excited about the series x, but probably just as excited in a gamepass subscription. It's a really good deal, especially the one bundling in the xbox live subscription.
@lazyboyblue
Sony has some amazing 1st party titles, no doubt. I had a 360 and ps3, but this gen I've stuck with a ps4 only. I plan on buying both the series x and ps5, but you make a great point about 1080p. If you're not set up and ready to run 4k@120hz games, the cost may not be worth it. Getting your set up prepared for hdmi 2.1, atmos, eARC, allm, vrr, etc. etc. and getting all your devices up to current spec isn't cheap. I've been waiting for a year like 20...
I am interested to know if you get it on time or not....let me know!!
@kythnlyn
It doesn't work that way. The delivery schedule is set up months in advance. Making changes on a whim, all of a sudden, isn't possible. Think of trying to turn a large vessel around at sea.....maybe you would like to hit the jets and be capable of a complete 180 to head in the other direction, but the reality is any movement in turning in very, very slow. Trying to avoid the iceberg isn't easy. And with the virus affecting shipping routes and schedules worl...
@jman1553
I hope you get your copy, but I order plenty of items from Amazon that continue to show the original date, but lately you'll get a notification that the shipment has been delayed, and you'll receive a new delivery "window". Amazon is prioritizing delivery to items that are needed most, so we'll see.
@hellcat2020
I actually thought this was the most "next gen" looking title shown of any of the videos....the lighting, particle effects, explosions....even the water droplets beading on the camera in the beginning all looked pretty fantastic to me.
