That is unfortunate...it seems the publisher (Sony) may have dropped the ball on this one, if the reason for the lack of physical copies isn't somehow related to the global shipping woes (and it very well might be), but if it isn't Sony should have known a ps5 exclusive would sell well right now because gamers are starved for new content for ps5. Even if the game isn't what most gamers would normally buy in normal times, these are not normal times.
They have to come up with a way to start tracking digital sales and include those figures in the data.
My backlog is ridiculous....I still have to find time to play the 2033 and Last Light redux bundle, but I will definitely be picking up Exodus.
Let's start a count here. I bought a ps5 and a series x. 1 to 1 so far. I didn't consider the series s.
Your viewpoint is myopic. Sure, any developer can make any game they want. But you know what? The point is if they want to maximize sales potential (and who wouldn't) you better be flexible. You'll be the type of gamer who wonders why a developer goes out of business without understanding a thing about business. I'm not saying Housemarque is that type of developer, or even that they should implement a better save feature....that is completely their choice. But understand tha...
Housemarque lost me with this situation....I was going to buy this game day one, but the reality is as I get older, the less time I have for gaming. I would love to support Housemarque and buy the game today, but I sit down and game when I can, sometimes for as little as 20 minutes, sometimes two or three hours, but really never longer than that anymore. I would never be able to finish this game, according to what I've been hearing from gamers and reviews. How is that going to be fun f...

The thing that is giving me pause right now is hearing that you could lose hours of progress if you get killed, and you can't save the game at regular intervals....as someone with limited gaming time, that does not spell fun to me, at all.
I have a Denon x4700h and I haven't had any issues at 120hz with my ps5 for it...my only real complaint about all the receivers from 2020 is the single 8k port, as I have to plug my series x into my television directly to achieve 120hz gaming, but that is an issue that was known, so overall I have been very impressed by the receiver and it's performance.
Having said that, I will be registering for the adapter, just in case an issue develops in the future.
This guy.....everytime someone from CD Projekt opens their mouth, more bullspit dribbles out. Do you have to go to university to learn this top level of excuse making? What class is this? I missed it, I need to go back to school to learn this mess.
Bottom line...the game was a disaster at launch, on all platforms, even pc. Laughable A.I., missing features, you know what? Why bother. I'm putting more effort into typing these comments than CD Projekt did in bug tes...
Well, damn. Insomniac is on a roll.
As someone who had a ps4 but skipped the xbox one last gen after having both a ps3 and 360 previously, gamepass is what convinced me to get a series x along with a ps5 this gen (as did the design and capability of the series x). Nothing beats Sony's first party games for me (looking forward to playing Returnal in a few weeks), but I love gamepass as well. I downloaded Hellblade Senua's Sacrifice via gamepass, and I'm looking forward to doing the same for Senua's Saga.
I hear what you're saying, but consider this....some gamers who bought the game on sale may have done so because they heard about the game late, or were playing other games they wanted to finish first, whatever. They buy Days Gone on sale, they love it, now they want more. Perhaps those gamers liked the game so much that a Days Gone 2 would be a day one purchase. So they can't be upset there is no sequel just because they didn't buy the first game at full price?
I refuse to click on garbage articles, but lolololololololol at this shucking and jiving!!!
Way to torpedo your own efforts....when people realize that some of these game devs are this out of touch with the average gamer, gamers who many times have to consider their own finances and purchase games on the cheap by necessity, it just shows the disparity. This guy just assumes every one can afford to buy every game they want to play new. Some can, some can't. Anyone who ends up playing your game should be valued, period. Banging on gamers who buy a game on sale seems counterpro...
Imagine if Sony was actually able to produce enough consoles to actually satisfy the demand that is in the marketplace. I would be fascinated to see what that sales number would be.
You do know that they announced the April release date while working in the midst of a pandemic, right?
Another delay for Deathloop? Not a great look for the studio. Disappointing, but what are you going to do? Nothing. Hope Returnal stays on track for late April. Oh well.
The Game of Thrones ending was fantastic.
What's Game of Thrones?
Still going to be hampered by last gen development eh.....sigh. I've moved on. The only games I will be playing on my series x or ps5 that a last gen are games in my backlog. I will make an exception for Horizon Forbidden West and the next God of War....basically I would make that exception for Sony exclusives, exclusively. Unless Battlefield for pc and next gen consoles offers something truly unique in gameplay (like more players in the map, more destruction in the environment, large...
