It's funny that there is this meme about the PS4 having no games because the difference between PS4 and Xbox One was basically 1 more retail exclusive at launch for the Xbox One and 1 more retail exclusive during the holiday season for the Xbox One. Factor in all of the extra F2P games, indie/smaller games and crossgen games and the PS4 easily has more games - so this "PS4 has no games" is ridiculous. Anybody that says that is clearly biased.

Well I feel like a fool then, haha. He does a convincing English accent then. But yeah, the sarcastic Tyrion accent is what I'd like. I assumed he sounded like he did because he was doing an American accent halfheartedly.

I really hope that Dinklage's VO in the Destiny Alpha was just a placeholder for him speaking in his normal, English accent. Either that, or they add on filters to give the voice more character.

I love me some Dinklage, but the lines in the Alpha reeeeaaaally fell flat.

Shame that EA got sued, I preferred the NCAA games to the Madden games.

In a perfect world, they would have used some of those franchises to bolster the Vita early on so they could then transition between console and handheld iterations. Sadly, it's too late for that to happen.

The idea of Knack is great - and it's a pretty decent game - I just hope they expand on the core ideas and improve the overall story and, especially, the characterization of Knack himself.

Personally, I think it would be a great type of franchise that could function on both home consoles and handhelds (if Sony even makes a new handhelds). Regardless, I do hope Sony gives the IP one more shot to see if it really takes off.

He also basically always says "libary" instead of library. But, overall I like his stuff and he seems like a cool dude so I try to ignore it.

Well, let's use Skyrim as an example. The first dragon you fight is a thrilling experience, where you and a group of NPC's are near a small tower being bombarded. However, even within that initial fight the specialness starts to wane. The fight is basically use whatever ranged attacks you have at the time to slowly whittle the dragon's health down and try to avoid fireballs. It's still a really cool experience, but the player already starts to understand that there really isn&...

I hope instead of the basic, kind of tedious random dragons in Skyrim that quickly became boring to fight that each of the Dragons in DA:I not only has a name and history, but also has a uniqueness to how you fight them. There probably won't be a big difference in how each dragon is fought - that's just what I'm hoping for.

I actually wish this "article" was based on ignorance, because at least then the "author" would have somewhat of an excuse. Sadly, I'm fairly confident that the "author" created this purely to get clicks and he/she should be ashamed.

I wonder what Rare has left in them?

There is nothing wrong with liking Nintendo games. I will say it is a little odd if you are an adult and ONLY like Nintendo games, but to each their own.

At this point I can't say this comparison is completely unfair. What I will say is that with Ryse, we knew it was going to be a third person action game with barebones mechanics and disguised QTE's. With The Order, there is still a reasonable chance that there is a fun third person shooter. I know there are really interesting guns as well as some survival/horror parts of the game. So, while Ryse was little more than a repetitive graphics showcase, The Order does have a chance to be mo...

"To be fair to Nintendo I doubt that stronger third party relationships will ever make any significant difference."

That may be true, and if so that is a HUGE hole for a console. Honestly, it's very hard to imagine a Nintendo console as a primary console for most people without reasonable third party support. I mean sure, Nintendo consoles may be great secondary consoles, but that's still a significant amount of potential revenue they won't get.

I'm going to make some general statements that I think are true.

Nintendo has two primary audiences, core Nintendo fans and families (more specifically young gamers).

Every Nintendo home console has sold fewer units than it's predecessor other than the Wii.

The Wii was a fad.

Thus, core Nintendo fans aren't enough to sustain a home console.

More and more kids are playing games on other platforms, ...

In a year and a half the Wii U has sold a little over 6 million units. Do you really think with another year and a half, or even two years, that the Wii U will sell another 24 million consoles? Not bloody likely.

Nintendo has cut down on Wii U production until they sell through the 3 or so million units they have stockpiled. Couple that with a minimal retail presence and toxic word-of-mouth and Nintendo would be overjoyed to sell 30 million Wii U's in the entire lifetime ...

In regards to the Wii U, it has almost no third party support. So if you own a Wii U and Nintendo doesn't have a game releasing soon you might go months with few options. Wasn't there over a month last year where literally nothing released for the Wii U?

If you have a PS4 or Xbox One, it might be 6 months until the next "big" exclusive releases, but you are going to get a steady stream of third party games to chose from.
