right now I have the king, the amd 965 but if this can yield better results and use less power for a decent price I might have to make some financial adjustments to purchase this cpu.
you talk as if steam started in 1995. I'd say 25 million is pretty good considering it's a full digital distribution service. A greater accomplishment considering the masses haven't even caught on to DD yet.
Serious question. At this point in each console's lifecycle why do we care what MSFT says about sony or the ps3? All their talk up to this point hasn't stopped or derailed Sony's momentum in any way. Why is so much energy put into defending Sony?

more than likely it'll sell extremely well. Doubt most sales data will track gamers who purchased the game via steam or another means of digital distribution.
not sure the battery issue is all that viable. My HTC hero has flash support and my battery life has not been affected non what so ever. Jobs can dilly dally with flash all he wants but sooner or later Google and Android are going to come up with the winning formula and apple will be hard pressed to make competitive adjustments.

with all due respect it probably was out of their hands as devs, but the problem was Eidos' PR department which put pressuer on gamestop to axe Gerstmann. In the end though it opened up video game journalism for what it is. News that is primarily based on Ad revenue and the free swag companies send the VG journalist not for how good a game actually is.

When it was released the source engine was one of the best graphical engines of it's time. Steam is one of the pioneers for digital distribution.

wasn't too impressed with either the 360 or ps3 version. PC version will change your tune.
