they actually did that twice so I'd assume they'd do it again for the holidays. once the war update is complete valve will have given away more content than some other devs try to pass off as full games, then to top if off they'll sell the full game for 2.49 usd.
After a hard days work. Comedic relief like this really lifts my spirits. Thanks jalen247
downloaded the client and quickly deleted it after seeing what MSFT was trying to give consumers. the only game that can't be had from other sources (possibly for a better value) is the free game they are giving away.
warner bros. interactive seems to be taking the gaming space very serious for 2010. Fear 2 was a good game it was overshadowed by the monster that is killzone 2. Batman AA was very good GOTY nominee. If fear 3 can build on the fear 2 model and Batman AA 2 can build on the Batman:AA model, wbi could very well have two contenders on it's hands.
or you could simply use a paypal account and make your steam purchases. for the record I don't hate GFWL, I just have a feeling that MSFT is doing this for sole benefit of lining their pockets. I know valve wants to line their pockets as well but at least they won't try to pull the wool over your eyes like MSFT. Like the old saying goes "don't piss on my back and tell me it's raining."
unless they announce alan wake and other 360 games that aren't already coming to the PC via GFWL, or another pc games distributor I don't really see how MSFT expects to make any real headway in the digital distribution space.
should be good news for mac owners who want to play this game and don't have a console.
that's also the reason they still make tons of money off games like oh I don't know, Team Fortress 2 where people are still buying the game as if it were a new release. instead of nickeling and diming consumers 5 or 10 bucks for dlc, give the dlc away for free and continue to sell the game. When a game can be sold for 2.99 on a steam sale and still make money you'd think other devs and companies would take notice of that business plan.
purchased my remote when they first came out for full price. 20 bucks for this remote brand new is a good deal.
waste of time and space right here in my opinion.
are you disagreeing with me or with the article. I'm not sure how your sarcasm applies to my post when I was simply summarzing the author's article.
Prime example. I work for Time Warner Cable in North Carolina. What started out for fun has turned into a pretty heated competition. We play against against other friends and co-workers from other regions New York, Texas, LA, and the Midwest to name a few. We currently have matches on Uncharted 2, Gears 2, and MW2 is split between the 360/ps3 in addition to Madden, Fifa, and Nba 2k10 tournaments on both consoles. Friendships have not been ruined playing the latter specifically; but UC2 an...
well this is good news to say the least. Valve needs to stop with support for the l4d series and TF2 otherwise I won't be able to enjoy other games.
The views expressed in the article are NOT the views expressed by the contributor i.e me.
Ben's points seem to focus more on the the fact that console hardware is becoming more pc like with components being made by ati, nvidia, intel, etc,. In addition to MSFT's and Sony's shift to motion controls to compete with Nintendo, though I don't believe for a second either company will approach the casual demographic as hard as Nintendo did, my personal opinion.
will definitely be checking this out. anxious to see how ubi built on the double agent mp formula.
maybe sad was a poor choice of word. I just personaly feel sony should put some presure on IW to fix this issue with people glitching the game. Of course this is just my speculation as Sony could very well be doing that. I know all these 'issues' rest on IW's shoulders but it seems to me at this point they don't give a crap where the ps3 is concerned and the big wigs at sony should be a voice for the ps3 owners when they are not being given the same treatment other gamers are. now of cour...
sony should give a crap because it's one more thing people can use as a negative on the psn community imo. Personally no I don't give a crap since I rarely play MP unless it's with friends. I'm more of a spec ops guy. It was simply an observation on my part and my opinion; if either of which offended you I apologize.
I'm not sure what's sadder. The people who use this, or IW and Sony for not giving a crap.
or as he was called during the events of reach Spartan 117. If this is typical bungie which I'm sure it is, they'll stick closely to the novels, which should be a good thing. The halo novels were well written and Reach seemed pretty immersive in my opinion from reading the novels.
I was thinking of skipping reach, but if the gameplay can pull me like this cinematic did I might have to fire up the ole 360 once more.
wow I pissed off cerebus and the shadow broker. I should have some good times.
