some of us can be true idiots at times. This was a issue that lasted less than a full 24 hour day. Some people probably weren't even affected but Sony advised them all not to turn on their ps3's; something they didn't have to do by the way. This situation was handled quite well imo
And sony defenders need to stop bringing up that xbl Christmas thing from 2 years ago like this is the first time the ps3 has been affected by downtime. Warhawk and GTA IV are two examples of games...

This story needs to be over 1000 degrees but because it's not catering to a particular console or service or any other factor that fuels this so called console war, most people who typically comment on this site will bypass this story, since it requires comments of sensibility, morality, and compassion.

i must admit I kinda liked those subliminal jabs at IW. I liked it even better when MW2 fanatics wandered into the BC2 demo thinking it's more of the same, running out lone wolf ramob style finally once the game was over... I'm hearing this...

well at those prices Nvidia is practically begging me to go full AMD ATI which is exactly what I'm gonna do. That's crazy I can go DX11 for way cheaper.

I guess this is what fuels gamers these days. The constant battle of my system is better than yours. While it does make for some good chuckles during the stressful work week it can be an annoyance sometimes to continuously see crap comment after crap comment.
we've still yet to hear about Retro studios game and I'd like to hear more about the rpg Last Story. Nintendo hooked my wife in with DSi and she hasn't gamed since crazy taxi. Now they trying to pull us all in with the wii this year. I won't purchase one till after E3 though still hoping for a Wii HD at E3 even it can only upscale current games to 720p I'll be happy camper.

no apology needed :D I did take it the wrong way since I was under the assumption you would be getting a 360 for just one game. Then again I've always had a problem with getting any console for just one game. Hate to see good people ( I assume your a good person) throw money away is all.
you could have saved a lot of trouble and just said I have no interest in pc gaming.
gaming rig + plus a 30 dollar wired 360 controller or wireless if you prefer is the way to go. Quite sure the money you plan to bury in a 360 that'll be obsolete the second you take it out box would be more than enough to upgrade the pc you use to visit this very site and play one single solitary game.....

the game is not being ported to ps3 at this time because upon completion of the pc and copy and paste version i.e 360 the ps3 architecture was not in place, therefore one can assume a port is well on the way for the game at some point in the future.

i must say something I haven't said in a long time. I'm kinda excited for what nintendo has in store for gdc and or E3. galaxy 2 sin and punishment 2 and metroid other M + fragile are all games I wanted from nintendo and they all come out before E3 I believe. I'm sure nintendo would have at least 2 or 3 more games for the holiday season for "core" i.e traditional nintendo gamers.
would be nice for mac users who want to game i doubt all games would come to mac but if valves game can go to mac that's cool. after all msft or apple it's still a computer right?
I feel your pain. Between my daughter and son. we got 2 ds phats, 3 ds lites, and to add to the fun my wife joined in on the fun and begged for a DSi this past Christmas. Theyve all been asking for a wii might have to cave in this year if a zelda is coming this holiday
