nice article but I don't forsee any Apple vs Windows pc exclusives. If anything the introduction of Steam to MAC should theoretically increase the overall number of PC gamers especially on valve games. Also MSFT seems to be too consumed with the 360 to care about pc gaming anyway. It's not like they care about pc gaming market share since they have closed most of their pc dev studios anyway.
i doubt nintendo secured this deal for the soccer moms and grandparents. This game was secured for the gamers screaming for more traditional games on the wii. may not sell a lot in the states alone but it will have very nice numbers and if the indication that neither me or my old man can find a demo disc spanning both greensboro NC and columbia SC should be a good indication that at least gamers in the states are trying to see what the game is about.

i have a ps3 also and there is no way in hell I'd every buy a valve game where the pc is lead platform for the ps3. so their business decisions toward the ps3 don't bother me in the least.

of course the PS3 reigns supreme. MSFT secured Final Fantasy simply to prevent many of their current userbase from buying a ps3 to purchase the game.
