Not for everyone. It is a high end device meant to push the limits. Casuals need not apply.

I am excited to play it again, but I really wish they would do a proper remaster like they did with Halo 2. That was so glorious.

Speaking of the Switch, that they talk about at the end of the article.. plugging it into a 4k tv is one most depressing things you can do as a gamer.

Such a BS article at least in regards to graphics. This has been happening on PC for ages. The required hardware in PC games are soo much lower than the hardware requirements for Ultra. In fact on PC it is even more drastic with much more variations than it is with X1 and X1X

That is true. Especially on games that offer unlocked frames and dynamic resolution. The other big factor is load times which are drastically improved.

Hope more games get the HDR treatment. Was looking through the list of games and although many will get enhancements very few are getting HDR. Come on developers.

I have a 1100 dollar GPU and I can't run Gears at 4k 60fps. At least not with above medium settings.

Based on the downvotes, I guess people hate helpful corrections in reviews lol

Amazon does offer hdr content, just they don’t do a good job of showing which titles have it. But if you load up Man From High Castle hdr does indeed activate.

21:9 is so amazing but man I wish more games supported it. There are only a handful that do. Although there are hacks that force it on some games.

@Ryan and Papa: I somewhat agree that the grind was fun, at least for those players that had the time for it. But it was frustrating for players who didn't. We lost a lot of Clan Members who didn't have time to keep up. They wanted to do the hard raid but their schedules didn't allow enough time to get the gear they needed to do it. But they did eventually fix that issue later when they added the 1 to 1 infusion and multiple methods to obtain higher levels. Destiny 2 should have k...

Last Hope is king. Sorry. It is what it is. Mida is king of Trials sure, but that was true of snipers in Destiny 1, Mida is just the closet thing to snipers now. But in non competitive game modes, Last Hope is king. And lol at Prestige not needing a high level. Clearly you haven't beat it. Or if you did, you cheesed it.

And if you already got everything.. Then play another game until the DLC comes out. You already got hundreds of hours of gameplay if you truly have ever...

Vanilla Destiny 1 was definitely more grindy but with less content. You had to do the raid to get to the highest level. There was no other way. And it required major luck. It took me over 30 raid completions to get the boots. It was pretty poor design. Destiny 2 definitely improved on Vanilla Destiny. But as far as post Taken King, I preferred the approach to End Game there better. And luckily that team is now responsible for Destiny 2 so we should see the same improvements.

Pretty lazy article. Seems the writer didn't really play destiny much or he would know that the Last Hope is king in PVP, a short range weapon. Also his claim of leveling was very off as well. You do need to be a high level to complete the prestige activities which are meant for users who want to invest the time to be able to do those activities. And to level you can farm exotics in multiple ways, you don't have to rely on powerful engrams, thanks to the infusion system.

Definitely feels less grindy and you have more of a sense of completion. I have mixed feelings. On one hand, it feels good to know I am caught up with other players and can play other games while I wait for the next expansion. On the other hand, I miss grinding strikes for that god roll. Overall very pleased with the game, but I do feel they have to add to the Strikes and Lost Sectors. Both are so fun but they need unique rewards that keep players going to them.

Disappointing but expected. Hardware just not there.

Liking this series. Looks like developers are not only able to offer better experiences but it seems the process is painless enough that most will take advantage of the extra power.

Still amazed at how much power they fit into that package at that price. Not saying it will replace my PC, but still crazy.

Imagine Last of Us 2 on Xbox One X. Shame Naughty Dog is being held back by weaker hardware.

It's about consoles catching up to TV's. People are buying 4k televisions and have crap consoles that cannot take advantage of them. Until now.

Kind of surprised we get the same Nightfall Strike twice in a row. But at least it is a good strike and different modifiers.
