Sony is milking with VR. Let's be honest they aren't really supporting it. How many first party games have Sony made for VR? It's also the worst of the three major VR solutions. Microsoft just released their Mixed Reality framework that can be used by all companies and is pushing the industry forward. So please stop with the BS.
*the one that plays the games you want the best.. Let's be honest here most of the games we want are multi platform. You want the console that does the best job at playing those games.
Only game I can think of that uses Frostbite that didn't do well was Mirror's Edge Catalyst but it wasn't due to the engine
There has to be a problem in order to solve it. Xbox One has more games than users have time to play.
If you read the article, they are saying it isn't an issue. Basically users aren't plugging their consoles in all the way.
Plugging it in all the way does seem rather important haha
Not just older titles, new titles as well. Origin, Shadow of Mordor, Star Wars BF2, COD, Forza 7... plus all the games as a service that are constantly getting new content like POE, ESO, Warframe. Just so many top quality games right now.
Really struggling with this right now.. So many games. Especially when I want to revisit all the old games that were updated.
Got a chance to try one of these today, the Dell version. It is pretty nice. Inside out tracking seemed pretty solid too. Not exact one to one like Vive or Rift but much better than the wonky PSVR and much more convenient than all of them.
Based on that Digital Foundry video for Halo 5, absolutely. Even if you have an S.
The features bit is complete BS too.. Yes, if you pay an additional 300 dollars you get VR. Plus the whole 4k console that can't do 4k thing is well, yeah.
@andrewsquall: I have a PS4. Had it since launch. But what on PS would I be playing over these games? I beat Uncharted 4, I beat Persona 5, I beat Horizons, although maybe I will get the DLC later on. And sure I guess I could get the lesser versions of these games on PS4, but that seems stupid lol.
Also that three year old game is actually closer to 5 years and is still awesome, so hate all you want. I will continue to enjoy it.
Features and value being a tie is a bit of BS lol. Xbox One X has so many BC games plus extra services like EA Access, not to mention Play Anywhere and Cross Play.
Currently playing Diablo 3, Path of Exile, Shadow of War and Star Wars BF2 in glorious 4k... And having a tough time deciding which game play on which day. It is actually overwhelming. Think I will end up sticking with Shadow of War until I beat it all and then at least finish the campaign for SWBF2.. As for Diablo and POE, those games just never end do they.. Time struggle is real.
I have a base PS4, and those issues still existed. In fact in some cases like Destiny 2 slowdowns and menu's even worse.
Origins, Shadow, BF2, COD literally just launched.
It's not elitist. Like I said the patch sizes and streaming req's are listed. This isn't MS's fault. Xbox One X was made for users with high speed internet. If that isn't you, it wasn't meant for you. Australia's internet issues are a bigger concern than downloading patches. Almost every time we try to raid with users from Australia we usually give up due to lag.. Although it isn't all of Australia so I know there are providers out there that can deliver good s...
Agreed. Would prefer a 60fps version. Although Bungie pretty much said it won't happen sadly.
@trooper_: a lot of the games listed are new. Origins, Shadow, BF2, Forza 7
Except it's not a fact. Forza 7 and Cuphead both just released to great reviews. Maybe take off those glasses, they are blurring your vision.
