Destiny is hardly a shitty game. Best coop shooter out by a large margin.

That is why we have reddit and google.

Game is just plain not good enough. Too many great shooters out right now that it just doesn't measure up with.

Stirkes themselves are fun. I really enjoy them but yeah, they need specific loot rewards like D1 to encourage grinding them.

@DevilishSix: Highly disagree that it doesn't look as good. It looks amazing. Especially with the chrome type shaders.

Destiny is not an MMO. Bungie never marketed it as such either. Not sure what that comes from. It is a coop game that has some shared worlds.

I mean, the team shooting is real. But I don't see the problem with it other that being angry that opposing teams are more organized than your own team lol

Nightfall and Raid are definitely good reasons to keep going. The raid gear especially looks amazing, especially with the dark shaders applied like the silver Iron Banner shader.

I don't really get the light level advantage stuff. It was tier'd in D1. You had to be 10 levels higher than an opponent for it to matter. And due to matchmaking that was so rare. The token system I can understand how some people see it as less exciting. I do miss the drops at the end of matches and talking about them with your fireteam etc.

I haven't found the Prestige Nightfall to be a piece of cake at all lol. I mean after multiple tries it can get easier, but it is a fun challenge every week.

The prestige Nightfall is a lot of fun, great challenge each week. Also that strike for the exotic shotgun is great fun too. Both of those are incentive to push to a higher level in my opinion.

Maybe add a second mod to each Weapon Gear that cannot be changed that comes with the item. Or add exotic mods that unlock a second mod slot or something like that.

Also they need to add some sort of way to unlock transmorgs so we can have gear that looks like what we want. The hunter raid armor with a dark shader looks so amazing but because all the stats are mobility, it isn't really useful in high level content.

I bought it on Switch, but I play it on PC.

Keep grinding Phil, you will get there haha

The gear and weapons are still the endgame. And they are still adding in more. Faction Weapons, IB Weapons, etc. I am nowhere close to having everything and I have played a ton. Still missing raid gear on my Warlock and Titan, still missing exotics for my Warlock and Titan. Still missing a lot of the faction weapons and gear. Still missing multiple Trials pieces.

Leave it to EA to bring Pay To Win to a full retail game. Loot boxes should not give any advantages as far as player VS player. That is not ok.

Great presentation, but the gun play just feels off compared to games like Destiny or even The Division. Can't see playing this over Destiny.

Diablo also sells dlc. Not sure what you mean? Both great games though.

3167d ago 3 agree1 disagreeView comment

No it doesn't.. people play games because they are fun. The rewards are all virtual items. The fun is playing the game to get them. The people that pay for them lose out on the fun. But hey, thank them for making this extra content possible for those of us that like playing games.

This loot box witch hunt it hilarious. If you just want to play the game, play the game. Games keep getting bigger and bigger with more content and rewards, while the price of games has stayed the same.. The cost of this extra content and rewards is offset by the money made on "optional" microtransactions. Gaming community is basically crying over more content at the same price, which is frustrating.
