This title has massive appeal. Hoping for a secret (unannounced) multiplayer mode.
Preordered of course.
DLC has been a huge boon for Nintendo. I can only image a scenario where the Wii (not Wii U) was capable of performing said act.
The Mario Galaxy series is incredible. It amazes how the game looks so good. The controls are great, the music is inspiring, and the replay value is just enough.
Nintendo should use the SMG titles as an example of developer excellence their company should strive for, when delving games.
Good news. Hopefully third party Wii titles follow suit.
That is true, though how many times have you read or heard people's sentiments on not liking "Nintendo games?"
Gamers like shooters; third party developers (besides indies) aren't supporting Nintendo in that regard (they did earlier on, though not so much now), so it left them with limited choices. They partnered with Valhalla Game Studios getting Devil's Third as a console exclusive, though they wanted a title with broader appeal.
Then ...
Hope this title does well. It'll send Nintendo a hopeful message on gamers wanting Nintendo to step outside their comfort zone, and develop games that are often related to third party.
Keep on innovating, just make your future platforms (Nintendo) "engine friendly" for third party developers.
The voice acting...
The game is good overall though.
This article puts "Iwata asks" in an even better light.
I believe not all developers want fan reconition, and just want to live a normal life without the Hollywood type attention. Social media is bigger than ever, and developers, designers, etc. - can promote themselves more proficiently.
There are people in the movie industry who are forgotten about also. It's a lot to do with personality, and how a person establishes themselves.
"Good news everyone!"
Yes, Halo 5 does look good.
What I'm really hyped for (and impressed by) is Crackdown 3. Never was of huge fan of the series (1 was good - the second... mediocre), though their cloud tech for the title really sold me on the game.
100% destructible environments? Damn.
Shin'en could do a lot for Nintendo (I agree with everything you said).
Offer them reasonable pay (without silly restrictions) to be apart of the Nintendo family. They'd help optimize game engines, and makes games via eshop (retail also, depending on certain factors, like the title's content).
This video hyped me up (good music).
Looks good.
Hoping there's options (or specific menus) to take off power ups, and shot locations. Online is a must, and an RPG mode like the handheld version (wishful thinking).
That's why I put "dead platform" in quotes (I think it's a foolish statement too).
You got to admire Nintendo for trying to appease their fans, even though the Wii U is labeled as a "dead platform."
Well said.
I believe the Wii U gamepad is a great concept, though it needed more robust features. Nivdia shield comes to mind.
Random ideas for software;
NHL - players on the gamepad have their own dynamic camera, which in turn, makes playing goaltender easier.
Basketball - perform player's signature moves, "create mode" for crossovers, dunks, alley-oops. A sim city type mode for building NBA arenas.
RPGS ...
$260, which include 2 games (Super Mario 3D World is a great game).
I know, I know - opinions and all that, though this bundle is good for those looking to purchase a Wii U.
Would having ''region-free hardware,'' lower localization cost?
Yes, I want what the article states. Nintendo should cut deals with Square Enix for; Chrono Trigger, Super Mario RPG, Secret of Mana, and Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles.
Also - sports, action adventure, and genres they're not know for.
