It's incredible with the little amount of effort it takes be "#1" in sales. Give credit where credit's do, though the Wii U has so many great exclusives. Random non-agee-er: "But the other consoles has better third party support!" If you own a PC better than what consoles can offer, you can buy your games cheaper there, without the online fees.
Regarding XBCX... It'll be fantastic can't wait.
SSB4 has amazing replay value. Great game for any Wii U owner.
It's for charity! I don't get the out rage.
A lot of good games on Wii U, especially if you own software with amazing replay value (Splatoon, Smash Bros. 4, Mario Kart 8, Mario Maker, Donkey Kong TF, Pikmin 3, Wonderful 101, Bayonetta 1&2...). I have a PC more capable than the PS4 and Xbox 1, so I buy all my third party titles for it. Games are cheaper on PC, and there's no online fee.
It's Nintendo's "Mariocraft," and it's amazing.
Good article. The Wii U is Nintendo's best console (of course, imo) for me, and (hopefully) their install base should substain them enough until NX arrives.
That would be amazing, though a lot of gamers would revolt against that idea. I'm happy Nintendo's listening to their fan base (on occasion). An overwhelming amount of people complained about SF Wii U's controls and visuals, so it's good they took that to heart.
What Star Fox Wii U needs is an online multiplayer mode (Vs and co-op). Hatersgonnahate, though I enjoyed Star Fox Adventures, and think Platinum Games are the perfect developers to embark on that aspect ...
That's true, though computers are becoming a lot more user friendly. With services like; G2A, steam, and humble Bundle - I get games on the regular, fairly cheap. The online is free, and I usually (depending on the publisher) get to play AAA titles beyond the performance of regular consoles.
For myself, the Wii U offers enough to purchase the console for its exclusives alone. Steam's great if you have a PC capably enough (bought 3 games for $5 dollars!).
I concur. Using this device to scan for illnesses and having it remind the user to schedule for appointments, could be a huge positive for health purposes.
I hope this game does well overall. It's not like typical Nintendo games, so it should be more revered by the Xbox/PS gaming crowd .
Great news. It's a title the majority of Wii U owners should experience.
Xenoblade X is seems to be impressing a lot people (read impressions on Twitter).
Nintendo's playing it smart with the NX. Developing games that's playable on both their future hardware devices, will increase their software output. Add indies to the mix, and it'll even better. Nintendo's planning for the future, not relying on AAA third party games, though will gladly take them if they come.
That's cool. I hope Nintendo adds Shin'en to their family (buy them out) so they can develop eshop titles, and make great gaming engines.
Well said.
Xenoblade X looks incredible, and it's a shame how the Wii U gets overlooked with so many great exclusive titles.
Shin'en will probably do wave race next.
Nintendo needs indie developers to make genuine sports titles on the 3DS and Wii U.
Happy B-day Captain N.

Looking back, you're right. It's just a weird situation having the console with (arguably) the best exclusives, selling so bad.
What a weird generation. The Wii U is loaded with exclusives (mature "non-Nintendo like" games also), and it's selling the way it is.
Microsoft and Sony gave 3rd parties way too much power. They run this industry (it's obvious by the advertising exclusive deals), and it'll be this way until something Wii-like happens again to shake things up.
Nintendo's riding that price point. Revenue above all else it seems.
Great points, though "all that" is negated by its amazing online mode.
