Great news.
Wii U isn't the success it needs to be, though its creating niche fanbase of devotees, and the next step is to support quality 3rd party titles.
Nintendo should have a person dedicated to third party relations. They do it for indies, so it shouldn't be an issue for them. To solve third party problems; hire a group of developers who's sole purpose is to help aide 3rd parties making the best title possible on Nintendo platforms.
NOJ is really limiting Nintendo's social evolution.
I want a "Tales of" title on the Wii U (though I'll settle for one on the 3DS). Maybe a Tales of Zelda, or Fire Emblem?
I believe there is a fanbase of Tales fans who own Nintendo systems (as Tales of Symphonia would prove). A multiplatform PS4/Wii U title wouldn't hurt.
Wii U: Gamecube 2.0 of awesomeness.
yep.
Going by the article's title alone, they ''brute forced'' (unefficient coding) Project Cars onto the PS4 and Xbox 1.
The Wii U's hardware is based on efficiency.
It could be done, though they (like most developers nowadays) prefer a simpler way of developing software. PC-like gaming platforms (PS4/Xbox1) is what this industry always wanted.
"We could reach a fairly solid 30FPS but it might take a hell of a lot of work."
This is the case of developers who prefer simple coding over the old days (non-pc type hardware). I feel bad for all those Wii U backers who now have to deal with the delay.
I'm sure sales plays a part (third party Wii U sales aren't great, except for a few successful titles), though they already got their funding, and should follow through.
Yeah.
Great news.
Great game.
The Wii U gamepad works wonderfully in unison.
Looks good.
Hope each version plays well.
It looks like Microsoft's shifting gears on their "Kinect experience,'' and focusing more on the gaming aspect.
So the Xbox 1's esram been figured out by developers (using it to its max potential)?
Mark Reign: "You heard the stupid gaffe yesterday about the Wii U. If someone wants to take Unreal Engine 4 and ship a game on Wii U, they can! If they wanna ship an Unreal Engine 4 game on Xbox 360, they could make it happen."

It's extra work on the developers part, though (as the quo...
Awesome.
This should encourage Nintendo to develop more new IP's. Though Nintendo and their platform owners "need" to support quality 3rd party titles.
Bayonetta 2 (which was packaged with 1), and the Wonderful 101 deserved better sales.
Mario Maker is Nintendo's "Minecraft."
A $250 bundle, could be enticing enough for consumers for the holiday season.
Never played it. You might want to checkout some youtube footage to get an idea if you're interested.
Nintendo's missing an opportunity. It's practically an PS4 exclusive in Japan because how poorly the Xbox 1 sells over there.
In this day and age, third parties are calling the shots. If you don't play ball (pay for advertising, localization, etc.), they'll find somone else who will.
Shocking.
I'll wait on reviews (or gameplay footage) to determine if it's worth a purchase or not.
Interesting, and well said.
"Legend of Kay Anniversary still runs at 60 frames per second, and features full screen anti-aliasing."
Keep in mind that it's originally a PS2 game, though it is encouraging how efficient the Wii U is.
The Wii U and its exotic hardware, should prove to people that it isn't so underpowered as they have come to believe.
Wii U owners; please support this title if it's well developed. Poor quality? Let it bomb. Though if it's the opposite the terrible spectrum, then we need to show Nintendo "that we want these type of games too, along with their normal output of software."
