N64 > PS1. Xbox > PS2 (please read for reasoning).
Both Nintendo and Microsoft had the better hardware of their generations listed above. Though - around those times - it wasn't about the specs, but the software the system produced. Gamers want third party games, which is proven by the NES, SNES, PS1 & 2, Xbox 360, and now the PS4. The Wii created an impossible scenario for itself by catching lighting in a bottle with motion controls, and selling with Nintend...
That's what I don't understand. Bayonetta 2 was blasted with unspeakable backlash when it was announced as a Wii U exclusive. "Though there's no PC version like there is for Shenmue 3.'' Nintendo paid for the title's development and advertisement, so they did what publishers are suppose to do when they pay for titles to get developed.
The title should be multiplatform (not just PC). You need to ''pay to gauge interest?'' Is the Kic...
Another Wii U title to buy.
The Wii U's call of Duty.
We (the general populous) might be awaiting reviews, though it's Wii U owners duty to send Nintendo a message by voting with our amiibo money (^-^)
Let's encourage good sales for well developed Wii U software.
Check this out.

Everything one needs to know.
I'm counting this as a blessing.
I get to buy Nintendo stocks low, and reap the benefits when (as you stated) Super Mario Maker and Animal Crossing launch.
This is what Nintendo needs to do to get better 3rd party support. Foster relationships with indie developers (who are competent).
Have them create the ''games'' we wouldn't normally see on Nintendo hardware (sports, GTA's, Fallout's, RDR's, LFD's, COD's, Fighter's, Racer's, etc.).
Help with development of large scaled ideas.
Promote titles as if it's a retail release.

Way better video clarity than the one I posted (awesome music too).
Day 1 support from myself.
I adored the multiplayer mode on the Nintendo64 version, and I believe an online mode for Star Fox Zero, would add more replayability.
I hope there a semblance of courage from Platinum Games to tell Miyamoto that Star Fox needs an online mode to encourage better sales.
I found it to be decent, though the other 8 was great (Typoman, Rive, Freedom Planet, and Runbow were my favorites).
Wow, this game looks great.
I hope Nintendo's paying attention (the Shin'en group is truly amazing).
Wii U sales aren't great, though each console sold is at a profit. Market share is important, though ''profits'' is what really matters in the end.
Hopefully, this is a good title and sells well.
We all need to call out N4G members (myself included) on their baloney.
I want Monolith Soft working with every major depart of Nintendo. They excel at creating game worlds.
Also... Baten Kaitos 1 and 2 HD please?
This generation is very strange.
Backward compatibility with Wii games and accessories.
"No account system,'' but ironically, original Wii owners can upload their digital purchases onto the Wii U (which Microsoft and Sony don't allow).
Free online (call it ''basic'' or ''limited,'' it's still free. Sony should've at least kept it the way it was, like on PS3).
It's ...
Incorrect.
The Wii U is basically an Nintendo exclusive console. People hardly buy Nintendo products for their 3rd party support (though their handhelds are different).
Microsoft and Sony are heavily reliant on 3rd parties, so if Steam does it right (free online, heavily discounted games, likelihood of using different controller options), they could niche out a market for themselves - alongside the big three.
DP.
They need indies to replace the type of third party games we don't see on their hardware. Maybe by combining their two platforms (console+handheld), they'll alleviate that problem.
