Sony isn't forced to do anything. Just like Nintendo can get rid of GBA compatibility on new DSs and GameCube compatibility on new Wiis. They're giving the option to download PSP games to those who may not have played them before or those who got rid of theirs. Not Sony's fault.

I own the game on PS3 and was pretty smooth from beginning to end. It isn't very polished, but I was able to do all the side missions and finish the game without running into any major problems....unlike Skyrim, which I played on PC btw.

Go to a store. Walk by the video game aisle. Compare the Wii games on shelves vs the PS3/360 games.
I emulate games on my smartphone. Touchscreen controls are HORRIBLE. Period. Even for simpler 2D games. Controls have to be dumbed down and simplified for phones and tablets.
Console-like games are few and far between. And when they do release, they're sub-par. Like that sorry excuse of a Mass Effect game. Because that's the type of thing you get with phones.
