Well said.

Also, since when is it an act of evil for a company like to protect its business and others' IPs?
*sigh* People, including the author, need to grow up.
It's not a spin. That IS the definition of gimmick smh.
The main thing that separates the Wii U from 360/PS3 is the gamepad itself, after 6 years. And that's what Nintendo is selling the Wii U based on.
Sony isn't selling you the PS3 on this feature alone or the Vita. They're two separate gaming systems.
Nintendo still hasn't clarified if the Pro controller can be used for every core game or not. This is a factor in my decision to pur...
Btw, if you think I'm being a fanboy, I like more symmetrical controllers (like my hands) and yes that includes the Wii U Pro controller layout, Wii Classic controller Pro AND DualShock.
That's what is said about the N64 controller.
Right in the middle... Whose bright idea was that. My thumb doesn't stretch that far. I had to move my hand.
Since when does the Vita have a "giant" screen?
Since when is the Vita just a controller with a touchscreen and not a full-fledged multimedia gaming system?
It's a gimmick when that's your only or main selling point.
PS Vita wasn't made just to connect with PS3. It's not just a controller with a screen.
You don't "need" to buy the two systems.
This is a feature for those who already have both or are planning on it. And apparently, most Vita owners have a PS3.
The fact is, the Wii U gamepad is a controller with a single-touch screen vs a PS Vita which is an entire multimedia gaming system of its own which can play games and other media anywhere not just in front of the TV. People don't just buy a Vita for this one feature. They buy for its...
That's what Sony told you?
And here we were all thinking they were cutting costs.
Why such a specific comparison? The music isn't even trying to be anywhere near similar to SSB's. Doom music is better than Halo's because they're both the same genre. Come on.
This is their first game.
Do you remember the first SSB theme? Yeah...
(mentions Doom) Ok so....all gaming platforms then. Consoles AND PCs.
I know. I use a DS3 as my preferred controller and am able to plug my PC on to my TV just like everyone else with a computer. Big whoop.
Geez talk about being overly sensitive. I was only talking about keyboard and mouse and people CAPS RAGE assuming that I'm hating on PCs or something, which I'm not lol.
So you're saying it's best if Sony doesn't do anything at all?
Because God forbid Sony keeps its system's performance and security up to date for their paying consumers. /s
Keyboard and mouse is best suited for FPS, MMOs and RTSs.
But I personally cannot stand keyboard and mouse for third-person view games. It was ok for the first Tomb Raider games, but WASD for movement is so clunky and outdated.
He mentioned Gears of War. What makes you think he's a PlayStation only user?
PCs don't have generations. They constantly change, slowly. Consoles dictate generations with multiplatform games.
It is constantly changing. Slowly.
Consoles dictate generations with multiplatform games.
GT5 got close to photorealism thanks to it's lighting.
The key is in the lighting.
That's what Microsoft said about the Xbox last Gen, along with "nearly unlimited graphical visuals" and whatnot.
Like the notifications bar, folders among other things they copied...sorry... "innovated" from Android?
Does iPhone have an App drawer or widgets yet? Or is it still just walls and walls of icons? I can't tell. iOS always looks the same to me.
Here's my core gamer strategy.
When they show more core games that are not multiplatform or old and are worth $350 of my core gamer money, then maybe I'll buy one. But for now I'm not. At least not at launch.
As a core gamer, I also try to be smart about how I spend money. I realize that the next Xbox and PS systems will be right around the corner which will give me more bang for my buck.
And when they do get announced, Nintendo will drop the price...
Hold on.... Only 32gb? wtf?
"But I has to buy two different systemz!..." No you don't. For PS Vita and PS3 owners, this is one of many extra features we get to enjoy.
The PS Vita is not just a controller with a screen that works in front of the TV. It's a entire multimedia gaming system on its own that can be played anywhere. So the price argument doesn't even apply.
This is interesting:
