These are the ones confirmed for PS5 so far with a few others as yet undisclosed.

And then you have the very real possibility that even the big first party titles will be ported at a later date, especially given Phil Spencer's recent comments.

Absolutely agree, many of the games shown are also coming to PS5 (despite MS hiding other platforms from the reveals) but the genuine exclusive all look great. Nintendo will obviously continue to carve it's own path and will be very busy with the Switch 2, but Sony and PlayStation really needs to pull it's socks up and start bringing out the big guns or people are going to start losing faith. Hopefully the rumours of a big PlayStation Experience show later this year are true.

It was a fantastic show no doubt but Microsoft continues be a bit shady and present everything as if it's an Xbox/PC exclusive.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred, Life Is Strange: Double Exposure, Assassin’s Creed: Shadows, Atomfall, Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn, Mecha Break and Wuchang: Fallen Feathers are all coming to PS5 despite not being listed as a plat...

Indiana Jones and the Red Ring of Death

Honestly it could be a good device for me, I currently use my Steam Deck to remote play my PS5 quite a bit.
But I have one major concern and one complaint.

My main concern is those thumbsticks, unless Sony has done the smart thing and put hall effect sticks in this they're going to drift after a while, and this device is much more expensive to replace than a controller.

And my complaint is the use of an LCD screen rather than an OLED, while I...

Your home WiFi can't manage 15Mbps? Come on now, it would be fine at home. Outside of your home could be a different matter though.

So by Microsoft's logic if you lose a race you should be allowed to shoot the other competitors in the legs to win rather than learning from your mistakes and working to improve yourself?

Well that was boring.

Starfield overall looks fantastic but I really can't get over how boring the weapons are.
I know they're going for a more realistic approach but Pistols, Shotguns, Machine guns and rifles again, seriously? Use your bloody imagination, it's sci-fi for god's sake.

Better than Astro's Playroom? I REALLY doubt that.

@Sgt_Slaughter
Except "it's expensive, I cant afford it" isn't legitimate criticism when it's priced very reasonably given the hardware specs.

The only reasonable argument is that Sony may have actually created a product that's "too good" and that they should have made some compromises to bring the cost down.

Did anyone actually bother to read and understand the specs of this thing?
It was always going to be expensive, this is actually a very reasonable price given the amount of tech you're getting. I'm sure Sony will be selling at a loss as it is.

No hate, but you have managed to dodge around the main issue somewhat.

40 as you say is a vast improvement over 30fps and is a reasonable compromise, and 30fps on the SteamDeck is indeed a decent experience but that's due almost entirely to the small screen.
The main problem is 30fps on a large screen which is for many (including myself) an unpleasant experience.

It can very well be unplayable depending on your personal tolerance for low frame rates and the display you are using.

I'm very sensitive to judder whether it be games or video, and my TV (Samsung KS8000) is awful at handling 30fps motion.

I'm not exaggerating when I say it's unplayable for me, it's like my eyes are rattling inside my skull when I watch it.

40 I can just about live with but 30fps is completely unacceptable on anything other than handheld devices (30 doesn't look too bad on the SteamDeck's small screen).

PC hardware is starting to push towards high frame rates of 120fps+ being the norm and most modern displays have 120hz or more capability.

If we are truly going to return to 30fps on console then it's already time for "Pro" versions.

But fails to reveal how much it costs.

The push towards cloud gaming is something people should actively be trying to stop but the perceived convenience of it is enough to convince the masses that it's a good thing.

The big publishers want it to happen because it gives them absolute control over everything. No more mods, no more community fixes, no more ownership, no more video game preservation, no more reselling or trading. Forced updates and changes whether you like it or not, if a game stops being prof...
