No. Look at this video from God of War 1.
Advance to 2min30s.

I just don't think they'll do a GoW movie. Sure movies like 300 have proven that it'd be feasible, and there's a mini revival of Greek/Roman inspired movies.
But GoW is not a huge seller. It's a respected brand within gaming circles, but not quite mainstream enough to justify the significant financial risk it'd take to bring its grandiose universe to life.
Unless they can pad the movie with a lot of CG and produce it for a modest budget circ...
Kratos IS dark skinned. He looks white because his skin is encrusted with ashes as a symbol of his curse.
I bought a 250 Euros one because of a promo that gave me back 50 Euros in voucher. I pondered keeping it but upon reflection, I ended up reselling it brand new for 230 Euros without even opening the box, while keeping the voucher.
I'm relieved that I did.
Portable systems don't have the same depth in terms of catalogue, and are never really worth buying at launch unless you're hell bent on getting one particular exclusive. You know that the release sche...
Ah, great to see that Capcom still has the best writers in the business.
It's a mistake. Both PS3 and 360 versions would not release at the same time, or they would have promoted the PS3 version as well.
Hard to argue with Malkin.
I guess Crosby is waiting for the big money, since he's never been on a cover to my knowledge.
I don't think too many people have played that game but there is a particularly heart breaking death in Penumbra: Black Plague.
I won't spoil it for you if you intent to play it, but it's done really "well".
The first game Penumbra: Overture has a pretty sad one too.
It's from the guys who did Amnesia: The Dark Descent.
Heavy Rain had some good ideas like some of the QTE that were purposedly unconfortable to perform to recreate the sensations if the hero.
But character movement was bad, with the trigger and tank like analog turning.
The story was not very original, it felt like an emulation of a thriller movie just like COD or Gears of War try to emulate a Michael Bay film or Aliens. It fell painfully short compared to the great thrillers David Cage tries to emulate.
The revelation...
I miss Jean Bison!
I hope you can at least pan the camera when you are not in combat.
"shortcomings in level design, which are similar to ME2"
Mmmm, precisely why I disliked ME2.
ME1 had larger, more varied levels, with more dialogue hubs. Combat and dialogue were mixed better, like RPG quests.
In ME2, it was just a bunch of corridors with cut and paste scenery.
That's precisely what I was hoping they'd change, but deep down I kinda knew they wouldn't, cause that's one of the most difficult things to do.

I generally like the 360 controller.
Like many, I was a PS2 gamer and when I switched to the 360, I found it bulky at first and I was worried about the asym positioning of the sticks.
But most of my concerns vanished quickly. The triggers are great and the best thing is the concave analog nubs. It doesn't seem like much but it's so much more ergonomic.
I ended up also buying a PS3, but I found it way harder to jump from 360 to DualShock3 ...
Just one little thing: NO FUCKING RUN BUTTON THIS TIME!!!
I liked it except for the whole collecting of E99, if I wanted a collect-a-thon I'd play Mario Galaxy.
I'm just saying that Steam gets a lot of coverage for their deals and offers when the majority of their prices are not particularly interesting.
When other services overcharge they take a ton of crap about it, but not Steam. You only hear about their "deals".
They have managed, because they are Valve and they are cool, to sell the idea that they offer premium service and because of that they shouldn't be ripped for their pricing but that's a load of bul...
This game can be had for the same price at Amazon Downloads, and can be found at retail at the same price as well.
Wake me up when Steam actually has some real steal to offer.
Yeah, that's what I'm saying. In the US or Canada, it would have cost several times that.
1.1 million is not a whole lot for a game of this scope and magnitude.
It's probably only a viable venture because it's developed in Poland where costs are lower.
If it was done in Canada or the US, I don't know...
Germany is a major market for these PC-style RPGs, they always give them good scores.
Some are still good, but generally nowhere near as good as German mags say.
Sacred 2, Divinity II, Risen, Gothic 3 were decent but got outstanding scores in various publications over there.
Two Worlds II got some very good scores, despite the fact that it was clunky as hell. Even the first Two Worlds got good reviews there.
These publications value scope but rare...
