I have always been a fan of the source engine, there's something about the way it looks I like, not sure how to describe it.
Why should a developer HAVE to support a console? Valves main focus is(and always will be) the PC, because the 360 has similar architecture, it means easy porting, but the same doesn't apply to the PS3.
Let me help you out with some grammar.
Your games are not good, stop! You haven't made a good game in years, stop! your wasting your time, stop! The FF franchise is dying, STOP!
There you go.
Panasonic, nice work trying to plead ignorance, you knew what reaction you were going to receive.
As for bullettoothtony: "are you going back to hating the ps3 or you staying a ps3 hater you big hypocrite!!" Erm what?
How small are your hands spandexx? if you can't reach both shoulders buttons on the 360, must be pretty small, that said I do prefer dual shock to 360 controller for all games except racing.
lol at breakfast disagrees.
Playing crysis on low settings doesn't count. I'm too poor to purchase a PC capable of running Crysis on max, but I have seen it running and it's quite incredible, but out of my reach. So for that reason, Killzone 2 is the best for me.
I second that, regenerating health has no place in 'realistic' games (CoD, KZ2, Rainbow 6 etc). I can understand it's inclusion in SciFi games where you play a cyborg such as the chief, but not when the only thing seperating you from bullets is a thin piece of fabric.
Mehh, why do Allies always have to win 0_0, communism for the win!
Looms like fun, although a bit too easy if that is normal mode, one thing that concerned me was the seeming lack of co-ordination between AI. For example the part where he ran into the MG nest, the guy on the MG fired a few rounds then ignored him. Hopefully Hard mode provides the sweet spot of challenge versus progression, like Heroic on Halo.
Oh come on, they're not really slating the game, at the end of the article they go on to give it some praise. I quite like gamesradar as they have some amusing articles at times.
Ju, I think that's expecting a bit too much from the AI in KZ2.
But, if graphics mean a lot to casuals, why is the Wii faring so well?
7.3 "although its Multiplayer portion is fun as hell!" Exactly, that's why a lot of people purchased it, me included. The single player conclusion was an after thought to me, I was interested in Forge, Theatre mode and of course blasting away with friends.
Lets hope both KZ2 and Halo Wars can deliver what they've promised.
Yes of course, an FPS exclusive on the PS3 is going to cause a Halo franchise exclusive to the 360 to flop. Here, have a dose of reality -_-.
:O Prototype, inFamous and possibly Crackdown 2, all in one year!
Aghh, how many times do I have to say
Ju, MS will want Windows 7 to be the main highlight of this show, I'm sure they will reserve their X360 announcements (if they have any that is lol) for GDC, or a more game centric confrence.
Lets make that comparison when MS start producing games such as Halo 4: Prologue, Halo 4: Concept, Halo 4 and so on.
Not a fair comparison, even more so when you consider the Gran Turismo franchise has been around longer.
Lets be honest though, if every game had as many different versions of each incarnation as Gran Turismo, it wouldn't be so far out in front.
Kwicksandz, I agree 100%. I have owned a PS3 alone for about 6 months now, before that I had an X360. Perhaps I was too used to MS providing worldwide release dates, but I am both shocked and appalled at the general practice of Sony, why do Europeans have to wait for everything?
