Hmm, what glasses are you wearing? I have heard the new range of fanboy lenses make things appear not quite what they actually are.
You lie, 'Wipout' (I'm going to assume you mean 'Wipeout') has never been released on the Dreamcast. If it is the worst game you have played this generation thus far, then the only possible explanation is that you have only played exceptionally good games, that or you're just a fanboy.
Vhero, writing a whole new narrative that links in and overlaps with an existing one is totally different, and a lot more time consuming, than simply adding in the option to ride around on a bike. I'm not slating Criterion here, far from it, they are a quality development team, but it's not the same and not up for comparison.
Guess next time Bethesda release a game, us PS3 owners will have to buy 2 copies each, maybe then we will get parity. At least according to Jenzo/fanboy logic.
Has anyone ever considered the reason that individual PS3 games don't sell as well is because the PS3 has a more varied library of exclusives as opposed to Gears of War and Halo? No one game sells that well, but combined they stack up, also games such as LBP will no doubt have long legs in terms of sales.
Sure, the PS3 isn't the roaring success that the PS2 was, but it's slowly gaining momentum and I imagine it will have a strong 2009.
An N4G fanboy can compare anything.
We?
Why I'm replying to you I don't know, but seriously, the Open Zone is there for a reason.
I would disagree with the KZ2 comparison, Heavy Rain is a more suitable subject in terms of theme and visual tones.
Please don't bash me for this, but I found the God of War 3 trailer very underwhelming, especially the last part with a few enemies on screen, clipping is rampant.
I got mine off game.co.uk a few months back. Recently saw a load in my local game shop a few weeks ago, didn't check last time I was in though.
It's a nice headset but it can ache a bit unless I spend a bit of time finding the sweet spot.
I must say, the Source engine is getting on a bit now, but I do love the look of games using it, much better than the shiny UE3.
I'm using Chrome, works okay for me :S
Scottama why don't you trawl through the comments to point out some grammatical errors and spelling mistakes too? Or even better, go away?
Yea, I agree, just read up some more info on the DLC, riding round as a gang does sound dam cool, may look into getting GTA for my brothers 360 at some point. The parallels with Nikos' story are also a fantastic idea and further back up Rockstar as one of the greatest development teams of the past decade.
Like you say though, at least the PS3 has a decent 2009 line up, so that may go some way towards making up for this I'm sure ;).
I have just got back into GTA, having repurchased it for my PC. I don't understand where all the hate comes from for this game, sure the friends can be a bit annoying and OH NO! Driving now takes skill! But it's all worth it for that hilarious unique moment and great for playing with mates.
One of the best memories I have of playing online is team deathmatch on GTAIV, me and a few mates packed out an ambulance, people in the front seats and sat in the back, and performed a drive ...
Haha, Resident Evil 3 was awesome, you also forgot Code Veronica from your list. Running in terror from the Nemisis was great.
Halo may not look as good as Killzone 2, and I wouldn't expect it to considering its an older game and it had a shorter development cycle. Halo 3 may lack the graphical fidelity of some games, but it's visually superb and has brilliant gameplay, evidence of this can be found on bungie.net, with over 700,000 people playing daily. Not bad for a game over 18 months old don't you think? Now please, lets stop referring to Killzone 2 as a Halo killer and instead simply enjoy it as Killzone 2.
If you don't care, can you do us all a favour and keep your Uncharted 2 talk to a more appropriate article? I don't know, maybe one about Uncharted 2?
Bungie didn't get closed down, they went independent again.
