Yes, I most certainly am getting Killzone 2, it's my most anticipated title of 2009, but I don't see the problem with it getting an 8/10.
I don't see why you're bashing MS for securing exclusive content on their console? It's a sales tactic, multi platform gamers are more likely to get a version of the game that will be supported with DLC.
Been playing Burnout Paradise a lot recently, what a game! Criterion are top developers as well, a worthy purchase for anyone - this game is pure adrenaline!

Halo actually got a 7/10 as well, not that I actually agree with that score, but hey, people are entitled to their opinions, and as long as I like Killzone 2, I'm happy, not really bothered what Hans from Bavaria thinks.

HighDefinition, the level of ignorance shown in your comments is nigh on unbelievable, blindly accusing sites of bias, stating your misguided opinion like it's truth and hating on the honest opinions of others. I don't see why this game getting an 8 matters that much, it's still a very respectable score and if you're so in love the game, which is more than apparent, it shouldn't make any difference to you, I know it sure as hell doesn't to me.
and what's wrong with Killzone 2 getting 8s? they're both top games, but there will always be some who don't enjoy it as much.

I thought Resistance 2 was a good game, In my opinion 8/10. I really enjoyed the competitive multiplayer and campaign and the co-op was decent enough as well. My main gripes with the game were a lack of polish and poorly implemented matchmaking and general balancing, other than that a great game that took up more than a few hours of my time.
How do you plan to judge that? Personal opinion? Sadly that doesn't seem to mean much round these parts. Sales? Good luck is all I can say. Review scores? Well currently sat at 93 on meta, below Halo 3, Call of Duty 4 and The Orange Box. To me all that matters is the first, and Killzone 2 looks to me to be exactly the sort of game I want. Roll on Feb 27th.
