@Baka-akaB I think what he was getting at was a lot of the previous updates included features that should have shipped with the game. Also that they added a lot of extra content that ended up feeling like it was incomplete. Such as the Top Gear integration and the Nascar races.

Im not sure if the game is going to completely suck or what, but I agree with you that the first two titles are going to be the best by far. Its such a drastic change to his character, Im not sure Ill be able to get behind this game.
Lets just say, that if Rockstar screws this game up, I will not be buying any of their titles for quite a while. Thats how much I loved these games.

If your referring the differences between the character from Max Payne 1 and 2, its because Sam Lake used his own face for Max in the first game. Then when they made the second game he wanted to use a real actor, especially since the tech for making third-person games grew a lot since the first title.

Ill make my final decision after the game has been released but at the current moment, Im not happy with the trailer either, or the story and character for that matter. Its like they took everything I loved about the Max Payne games and just ripped it apart.
I hope it will be a good game, but Im not confident since Remedy isn't developing the game.

Yes, its totally worth it. Just within the last 2 months I beat the first and second Max Payne games again for probably the 4th time. Story and gameplay are still amazing.

Heres my two cents. It's all speculation. While it's fun to imagine what its going to be, their is no way to tell which console will come out on top before they're released.

Im pretty sure the reason why they didnt use HD-DVD for the disc tray is because it would have driven the cost of the 360 up at launch. Much like what happened to the PS3 with Blu-ray.

All I have to say is I really hope Rockstar doesnt screw this up. I loved the hell out of Max Payne 1 and 2, and I love Remedy. They always make quality story games with a dark atmosphere.
If they screw this game up, I dont think I could ever forgive them... Rockstar and Remedy that is.

Actually it would be the same if I pirated the game and liked it so much that I went out and bought it. Not all "pirates" only download the games/software and don't support the developers.
Im making the point that if your buying used games your not supporting the developers. Your supporting the company you bought the game from. Used game sales dont bring in revenue unless those people by DLC, and even then it is costing the devs money to host you...

They do that. If they catch a J-tagged 360 on Live they ban it. Which they have the right to do. Nobody is saying they dont. The hardware is still yours and its your right to modify it anyway you want.
