What do you mean constant hardware upgrades? I built my computer myself 3 years ago, put maybe an hour or two into overclocking it afterwards and it still runs most new games on max settings.

Now that weve established that, what is wrong with being able to customize and upgrade your computer? You dont think millions of people would buy a new graphics card for their 360 or PS3 if they could?

Ha, my character is all sorts of screwed up. Im an Imperial Berserker with a high sneak and lockpick level. I guess Im going to end up a stealthy berserker... :)

The title of the article is misleading. If its going to be fixed in the next patch (whenever that is) how would it be a game breaker?

Same here. I laughed for a good 3 minutes. I shot a wolly mammoth, thought it was the wolly that was making the ground shake... next thing I see is the giant smashing me with a club and I go rocketing into the air like a bottle rocket.

I kept loading the same save and shooting the giant with an arrow just to watch it over and over and over...

@JsonHenry That is hilarious. I wish I could have watched it. My horse just runs away when its lost a certain amount of health and doesnt come back till I fast travel.

Im just waiting for the article about Mathieulh decrypting Lv0 on 3.73FW for the PS3. Then all hell is going to break lose on N4G. Although he did say that he wasnt going to release it or any dumps to the scene. So someone else will have to figure out how to do it, but he has proven that it can be done...

Runs as smooth as butter. Slightly above high settings with 8x FXAA and higher than average draw distances for the high setting. 40-60 FPS average.

Gamer1982, your just running the game with a low end graphics card. My 4870 has been running games nearly maxed for about 4 years now. They arent even expensive anymore. Go get one, or a better card and see if you still complain that its the developers... ...

Im quite happy with the game honestly. The hotkeys/mouse support is kind of annoying. Having to use the keyboard to select menu options gets tedious, and I did run into a game stopping bug... but I found the workaround for it.

Other than that the game runs great and hasnt given me any hickups. Although I do wish it would show me my level progression when I kill something or complete a quest...

Yeah, the 8800GT is definitely your problem. I have a 4870 overclocked on a Core 2 Duo overclocked to 4.5GHz and 4 GB of 1333 DDR3 and I can play the game above high settings and get a consistent 40-60 FPS. Hell, its even playable with 8x FXAA on, just have to watch out for the running water...

All it takes is a half-way decent video card and you can play this game on high settings easy. Looks a hell of a lot better than my bros 360 version too.

Thats what the mods will be for. I remember in Fallout 3 in Rivet City that little bastard kid was talking smack so I said something about doing his mom or something along those lines. Next thing I know hes pulling out a gun and killing everyone in Rivet City because he cant be killed.

Some mod action took care of that problem though. That kid deserved to have his head blown into pieces.
