Also, a lot of the review scores for the game were inflated because of the insanely good graphics. Besides that, and some neat interactivity for the time, there really wasn’t much else to it.
Well, there goes yet another opportunity for them to capture some of the EU. If there is another Xbox, it’s gonna do even worst in EU than the Xbone.
Kindof doubt it. Neither of the first two games were big sellers, having a combined total of a few million units at best. There doesn’t seem to be a lot of attention for this game, and the majority of its hype died not long after that fake tech demo in 2014.
@IRretrouk They were shut down as their own studio, but the majority of the staff were moved to Guerilla’s main team to help work on future titles. It would make sense to beef their numbers up a bit and turn them into a B team to work on other IP’s.
If rather see Guerilla’s main team continue with Horizon, while they grow their B team from Cambridge to work on either Killzone or a new multiplayer focused FPS. Horizon is far too good to end so suddenly,

I don’t get it. A lot of people complain about how the service isn’t good enough, but then get upset when Sony adds more games to it.

Eh, he’s not entirely wrong. Those of us PS users that were actually around in the early PS3 years were a tad desperate. The only really good online exclusives at the time we’re Resistance and Warhawk.
I actually kind of liked this game. It wasn’t the greatest thing ever made, but for an early PS3 game, the graphics were pretty good, the gameplay mechanics in MP were kindof neat, and it was one of the only PS3 games to have 4 player split screen online coop for the campaign. Plus the story was kind of fun to think about.

I don’t understand how that review can be honored. The guy listed the lack of the blades of chaos as a negative. Knowing that the blades are in fact in the game and you get them halfway in and they become an integral part, then that means only one of two things: either he didn’t even get halfway through, or he’s lying to deter people from buying. Either way, it should not be regarded as professional, nor should it be added to a cumulative score.
I’ve been having an issue in the Niflheim area, where if I get too far into into the maze, Atreus gets stuck on something and disappears to where he can no longer help me with his arrows and special. I can’t get him to come back until I visit the Dwarf shop. Minor issue, but it means I can’t fight Revenants, and have to miss out on a lot of mist echoes. Only issue I’ve had though.
I hate cheaters as much as the next guy, but those fines seem way too high. Hell, arrests and any kind of fines seem way too extreme, given the circumstances. Hopefully this is just making an example to deter further cheating.
Interestingly, it’s still tracking ahead of PS2 right now. Within the same time frame, PS2 was at 72 million shipped. I’m honestly thinking (and hoping) Sony is just being conservative with these numbers. With God of War, Spider Man, RDR2, CoD, and the new BF releasing this year, they should still be able to at least keep pretty close to 2017’s numbers, especially if they put out an LE Spider Man console, as well as at least one for either RDR2 or BO4. We’ll see though.
Not sure why you’re even bringing this up. You clearly wouldn’t be interested in Spider Man even if it came out a year before. Your loss though. If both games turn out great, the rest of us non-pretentious D-bags will be enjoying both.
