I’ve seen far too many people claim this was gonna be GotY lol

Looks awesome. Day 1 buy for sure.

Also, is the game that hard? Or are these guys just that bad? I can definitely see a difficulty curve, but these seemed to make a crap ton of obvious mistakes, even when they were successful lol

The fact that PS Vita failed, but was a brilliant portable device that holds up very well to new portable hardware that is considered to be top of the line. Vita did quite a bit by comparison.

Really? Vita had native voice/ party chat day, trophies day 1, optional paid subscription service with free games day 1, internet browsing day 1, customizable backgrounds and themes day 1, and media apps such YouTube and netflix day 1. Even if some of those weren’t available on launch day, they were definitely available within a few months at the latest. Switch has been out for well over a year now, and despite all of Nintendo’s “updates”, next to nothing about it’s UI has changed. Outside of...

I mean clearly gamers don’t have confidence in Sony; look at how horribly the PS4 has done! /s

Come off it dude. I’m willing to bet you never even owned one and were a part of the crowd that booed it and wanted it to fail from the start. Stop pretending like this is why you don’t like Playstation; you don’t like Playstation because you established that mentality in yourself long ago. If Sony didn’t boost a person’s confidence with how they turned the PS3 around, then there’...

What’s crazy is that despite coming out more than 5 years prior, it still offers a lot more features and functionality than Switch. I really liked Vita when it first came out, and played a lot of its best games. It’s a shame how quickly it fell, but I’m also glad that Sony moved on from it and got their studios to focus solely on PS4.

@DillyDilly True, but why would they spoil everything?

2802d ago 6 agree1 disagreeView comment

No, we have not seen TLpU2, Ghost, or DS in action. Those 3, plus Spider Man, is an incredible list as it stands, and it’s most likely just a confirmation list to draw in attention. There’s bound to be more. Sounds like you the usual failed attempt to derail that PS4 train. Gonna fail miserably, as usual. The show is gonna be great.

With TLoU2 and Death Stranding gameplay already being shown off, I don’t think the internet could handle Agent coming back within the same conference. There’s a limit to how much hype you can create in one setting before it becomes a catastrophic scenario lol

Because it was a technically impressive game, the open world was beautiful, there was great enemy vairiety, the combat was always satisfying, the story and dialogue were very well done, and it was just very fun to explore the world. Maybe the game wasn’t for you personally, but to me it was phenomenal, especially seeing as it’s a brand new IP on a fairly new engine that came from a dev that worked almost exclusively on linear shooter titles prior this one. It’s great start to what can easily ...

We’re not going to hear about HZD 2 anytime soon. I would like to see a sequel to R&C 2016, though I’m not expecting that one anytime soon either since Insomnuac has been working on Spider Man.

Because that’s what GaaS is: early access unfinished peoducts that are designed to get better over time and additional money spent, but it’ll only happen if enough people buy in and don’t quickly abandon ship. It’s a really poor business model; far worse than even just regular MT’s.

As for Xbox fans, no idea why. I guess they just kindof accept anything MS puts out. If MS said GaaS is horrible and SP games are the future, the Xbox fans would swing that way too.

lol You’re still trying to spread that false information based off a rumor from before the game was even announced, and before it was switched over to the Decima Engine. What part do you not understand that Sony owns both the IP and the engine? A PC release isn’t impossible, but neither is the sun turning into a black hole in the near future. Sony would have 100% of the say in whether or not it gets released on anything besides PlayStation. But, if you want to bank on that, be my guest. You’l...

They’d probably be even less likely to do it then, tbh.

Too complicated, wasn’t Beta tested, most developers didn’t even receive dev kits long enough before launch, etc.

The CBE was a cool idea, and could’ve produced some incredible games, but it should’ve been implemented a lot better.

Exactly. PS Now is simply Sony’s hand in the games streaming market, so that they can be ahead of the curve if and when it finally takes off. It’s not a product that is indicative of Playstation’s future. I can’t for the life of me figure why Sony ever switched to x86, if they didn’t fully intend to make use of it for the long term. Needless to say, they clearly have every intention of sticking to it, seeing how well it’s worked out for them.
