@KribWalker Yeah, and I’m sure you were one of the consumers that was all about buying a $500/ $600 PS3, and totally didn’t attack it like the rest of the gaming community. /s

Be honest my guy, you know that you were one of the many that didn’t care for PS3 early on, regardless if it’s BC.

Sony didn’t want to release a $600 PS4 and sell it at a huge loss just to appease the 1% of the console gaming community that ever used BC. You can be sure that PS5 will feature 100% BC with PS4 games because it’ll be far easier and far more cost effective to implement.

They don’t need to. We’re long passed the point where PS3 titles are relevant. It’s time to move away from that era, and hope Sony continues to implement forwards compatibility in future hardware.

Well, at least we agree on that. If I were you though, I would accept the fact that unless something really bad happens to Sony and PS, it will be a long time before this game comes to Xbox. Kindof figure you’re just trolling, but still lol

Sony-published title + it’s using Sony’s Decima Engine. You’re better off asking when’s Halo out on PS4?

The online service sounds awful. It’s literally just a paywall slapped on to what we can currently do for free on Switch, which really isn’t much. The only added feature is we’ll be able to stream classic games for a limited time. That’d be cool to me if I actually had any interest in Nintendo’s games from the pre-N64 era. If they start adding N64 titles down the road, I’ll feel a little bit better about it, but right now Nintendo is just showing that they are still absolutely clueless about ...

You actually believe Nintendo doesn’t need 3rd party? The NES and SNES were successful because Nintendo had 3rd party dominance. N64 and GC grew progressively weaker because Nintendo took 3rd party for granted. Wii U was a failure without it. The vast majority of games on Nintendo’s portable titles are third party. DS and Wii would not have had the sales numbers they did just relying on Nintendo developed exclusives. Get real dude, Nintendo needs 3rd party just as much as Sony and MS. It does...

I’ve still got my fingers crossed that PSASBR2 will be a thing

2804d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Is it though? Not saying they’re not interested in the extra money, but CoD WW2 has made billions without a Switch version. Nintendo getting a third party support is a benefit for themselves; third parties are fine with or without.

You.

2804d ago 6 agree2 disagreeView comment

Well, that didn’t take long at all. Guess XBox didn’t take the carrot he tried to dangle in front of them. The guy only has himself to blame. He got a lucky hit with Gears, and thought he was somehow one of the industry’s best as a result. This was just his inevitable fate, as well as anyone dumb enough to work with him.

The aggression with this comment. Yet another fake gamer lol

2804d ago 3 agree2 disagreeView comment

It doesn’t make a difference either way. PS4 is going to sell extremely well with games like God of War, Spider Man, RDR2, BO4, and the new BF. Switch will sell well from Smash and Pokémon. PS4 is not going to get cannibalized by Pokémon, regardless of what Nintendo fans are hoping for.

Also, are people sure about Pokémon being the ultimate system seller? I mean what’s the excuse for 3DS? It’s had several
Pokémon titles, as well as a 2 1/2 year ...

Safe to say that if you factor in digital, it’s sold well over 2 million on just PS4. Pretty good numbers

“B-b-but muh Labo in Japan!”

Ok? Are you Japanese? Do you know the actual numbers of both in relation to the rest of the world? Do you actually prefer Labo to God of War, but still somehow consider yourself a gamer? The fact that you feel the need to talk about cardboard sales in a country that you’ve most likely never even been to just shows how delusional you are.

lol Keep on ignoring. Ignorance is bliss as they say

The game was kindof bound to fail. I mean, what the hell was it? I’m not gonna claim it was bad, as I never played it, but I never played it because I literally could not figure out what it was based off the gameplay I’ve seen. I know based off it’s sales that I certainly wasn’t in the minority on that one.

I really wish R@D hasn’t let their arrogance get the best of them when developing The Order. That franchise still has huge potential, but I don’t want to see them touch...

2805d ago 6 agree2 disagreeView comment

Did you actually play the game to develop that opinion? The Order was far from a horrible game; it was definitely short, and didn’t need those couple of chapters that were nothing more than cutscenes, but the gameplay, the gun mechanics, the overall story, the setting/ environment, and the voice acting were all top notch. The insanely good graphics go without say. Nothing about it was broken, and everything worked extremely well. Nothing that a bigger and better resourced team couldn’t fix in...

The funny part is, I’ve seen people on sites like VGC claiming the sales were going to drop like a rock after that great first 3 days. I’m calling it: the game broke 5 million just after it’s first week and is probably closer to 7 million by now.

2805d ago 28 agree1 disagreeView comment

Even with VGC overtracking the Xbone by around 7 million units, 8th gen is still pretty far ahead.
