Life is full of risks, some real, some imagined. I take your point, but how many death threats are made via the internet each day? Against how many are realized. Statistically, I would say it's a small risk, and not something that should stop Sean, or anyone else from making their views known. Who on this forum hasn't at some point, received threats in some form or another. You are probably more likely to get hit by a bus than have a internet death threat carried out.

Yeah,VerminSC, but that's the point. It's the MT's most people are complaining about.

No.

2993d ago 1 agree2 disagreeView comment

Yeah, with no criticism of MT's whatsoever, I hardly consider this a balanced review. Another, no thank you.

Even Rome fell, eventually. Simply remove the idea of EA from your gaming psyche and avoid. It's not like there isn't other stuff on the horizon. The gaming industry is teetering on the brink, with many developers and publisher's looking to exploit their consumers. As made clear in the piece, EA, will survive, but will gaming? Probably, not in the form it is now. As usual, it's your choice. Great gaming to all of you.

This is a distraction from the issue. Don't let it be used to try and claim that gamers against MT's are crazy, because that's what this is about, trying to undermine our strong position. This claim may be true, it may be nothing more than a tactic, but either way, it DOES NOT diminish our concerns. EA have made changes to the game, and for some this is enough to convince them EA are listening. That's at best naive, at worst, just dumb. The point is to get MT's removed all t...

So as long as you are OK. F**k the rest of gamers and the industry. Okay, well that's fine, I guess.

Don't do it. Keep your cash and spend it on something worthwhile.

Really good to see gamers across all platforms uniting to protect our pastime. If I could, I would give you all a +1 for speaking out. Applause to all of you.

I know it's not a major site, but I still give credit to them for speaking out. They risk the wrath of EA, and petty retaliations for speaking the truth, but I support them for their courage. Well done.

You, know what. I think it probably started life as the next Xbox, but with Pro releasing and changes to the industry, MS decided to release it as an upgrade. Think about it. This thing had been in development before the Xbox 1 released. By next gen we are looking at 10 to 12TF GPU and a much heftier CPU, or APU if you prefer. Probably. BC will be standard feature for all MS and Sony machines going forward, has to be.

Well, it's good to know our shares will be worth more. Wait what? You don't have shares in Sony or MS. Oh, okay, then.
You must have Nintendo shares, right ?

EA, have already modified the P2W system because many gamers are outraged. Who said people power can't make a difference. Stay strong, don't buy into this crap. Spend your money on Devs that respect gamers and their opinions. Ignore the corporate monkey's. And Sean, you think people object, because it's trendy to attack EA policies? Hmm, OK.
Or could it be EA policies are morally repugnant.

' I Don’t Trust EA with Respawn’s Studio.'
I don't trust EA.

Yeah, sadly you're correct,I think. If he did this as a business venture hoping for profit, maybe he was in to deep to back out, but having to sell your house, that seems like bad judgement. If he did this because of his passion for Nintendo got the better of him then yep, he need to rethink his priorities, as you said.

I agree it's worth the difference. Personally, I would say MS has created a cool piece of kit, with innovative engineering solutions. However, that's the hardware.....

Doesn't seem to be any major new reports coming in about failures,so probably a percentage were setup problems. However, there must have been some faulty units, because that's the norm for electronic devices. I only know for sure, that mine is working perfectly.

Not trying to start any kind of 'war' between you guys, because it really is sad, regardless of the team you're routing for. However, just so there's a little balance on what both sides are doing. Last night in the UK, both Sony and MS launched what I assume is their Christmas campaign. Both, I'll repeat that, both of them, claimed 4K. They didn't say mostly 4K/30 or 4K checkerboard. No, it was 4K emblazoned across the screen. Oh, and as expected MS went with the world...

Then there's this;
Will publisher's tighten their grip on what's cosmetic and what's not once MT's become ingrained in gaming?
Will publisher's shorten single player experience's because there is less revenue streams, than multiplayer 'opportunities'?
Will single player games, become DLC to complete?
Will multiplayer games become MT's to win?
What you say would make sense, except you are crediting publisher...

I wish them luck, but I'm uneasy about their optimism. I think they may be over anticipating ongoing demand. However, if it means more Nintendo exclusives, I good with that.
