On another take... Top 10 Most Convoluted Videogame Storylines, how's that Kingdom Heart series is not mentioned? Two main games, 5-6 alternate stories (cant remember how many of those are), and the story still doesnt make any sense.
Not like I'm a big fan, but about Pokemon... well, there is a world with different regions, or continents, and there are some species you cant find in one region, the same way asia got Pandas, and poles have pinguins and white bears. Is it that hard to understand?

Plus, that applies to Bungie, Activision, Capcom, Square, and almost every company. There are only a few that plays unsafe with new IP every time, like Platinum Games or Grasshopper. Dont act like sequels are new in this world.

I can remember A LOT of games that made me feel emotional, so I really dont get what this guy is saying. Did anyone here saw the ending from Professor Layton 3? Or the desolated world from the last week of TWEWY? Or the standard final from Chrno Trigger? This guy need to play some real games.

Pretty generic list, another one to get hits. BTW; of all those games, Zelda is the most "hated", but at the same time, it's the game wich gets less releases of all. I mean, we got the entire Uncharted trilogy between Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword.

No Grasshopper game has no story. Even if it starts plain and simple (like no more heroes), it somehow manages to get complex and interesting. I dont get why this game would be the exception.

I agree completely. Even games with little to no story can be incredible funny like Mario games, Rhythim Paradise, Little Big Planet, Modnation Racers, Lumines... I tought it was a basic point of game design for years in every console. Plus, when I want a good story, I play a good handheld RPG, or a graphic adventure.
It's like saying that actual consoles are not contenders since their games look and performance way worse than a PC game. Do you play, or do you count the polygons?
