I agree. Having a big world to go on, the "galaxy" concept would be surely lost, and maybe it'd end up as a sequel to SM64. And about the load times... they're not that big, and I prefer to see that guy flying, than a bar filling or Snake smoking anytime.
I dont think it's a bad idea for the main character... the problem is, Link is always saving a princess, so he being a female leaves us with two options: The more incompetent prince to save (and probably gay... or anemic, you never know)in videogames story, or girl on girl... ah, and Ganon have to be a girl, too. Does anyone here think, like me, that retro gaming is a hard hobby? Men, I can rush like a breeze on any BF or COD campaign, but I can get stucked hours only in the first levels of games like Contra or Metal Slug. God, those were the days with REAL difficult... now I just point the stick, press a button, and Drake jump, without me making an effort.

Saki Amamiya and Layton? If this is true (and I dont think it is) then I'm sold.
If I were forced to choose, I'd choose the review. After all, ALL game trailers are made to look cool, but, at the end, they say nothing about the game. I dont know anyone who says "my game is bad", so I find pretty dumb to choose a game based on a video.
But the best option is to rent it or take it from a friend. For a time, of course.
And next Mario game will be released in WiiU.
