Now, in another take, I love Nintendo, I love Nintendo games, but if they dont start giving away real information soon to media (graphics, games, something), and start some advice campaign to the common user (we in N4G know things, but final users know nothing), then I dont know how they're planning to sell the console this year.
Nintendo rarely make direct sequels, the only exceptions would be Majora's Mask and Galaxy 2. So this is nothing new, maybe making a new game from scratch is hard and difficult, but thats how they do things.

What if I dont care about none of these, but I care about Layton, Phoenix Wright, Pokemon, Mario and stuff like that? Do I get disagrees?
Well, it IS a gaming device. I dont care what games I can play on it, that's a different story.
Agree. Next consoles need 16gb of ram, 10 core processors, 4 tb of disc, 2,5 gb of GPU, and a resolution of 8k in 3D. It needs to cost 250 dollars, too.
Now, to end the sarcasm, there's a thing I want in next gen consoles: stability. I dont want fo fear a RROD or a YLOD. What worries me the most, is the fact the it looks like: more power = more failure. The underpowered Wii doesnt suffer a blue line of death...

It'd be really weird to try to point and see all the elements in that tiny screen while being at a medium-large distance from it, but it'd be cool anyway. I'd go a level up (or down) and say that it'd be really cool to play GC games in that controller, it has all the buttons.
Maybe, But after all these years, if they put a voice for Link, I'm pretty sure everyone will say "that's not the voice I imagine Link would have. It's horrible"

It's not a creative failure, after playing games like Zack & Wiki, Skyward Sword, RE4: Wii Edition, Red Steel 2, you just have to admit that motion controllers really work hen developers put effort into it; the problem is that the console became a house for lazy developers who did nothing but lame party games, and bitch about how a game cant be great without HD, instead of trying something original in the graphic department like Madworld or Muramasa. Nope, maybe "we" dont need another Mario game. As "we" I'm refering those who has "grown up in tastes" or as they call themselves "mature" and has played all Mario games since 1986. And by those, I'm refering to the "hardcore" gamer of N4G, and gamer journalist who are actually in the 25-30 years.

Well, I dont know if phoenix wright or Layton, (specially Phoenix) can be considered "no mature" taking in account that every case in PW is about a murder with really dark motives behind it, and the level of some Layton puzzles and story are far beyond of what a child can actually do (and some grown ups).
"immature" is not the word I'd use, "quirky" neither, since those are good, lenghty and sometimes difficult games... but I dont know what...
...so? Everyone can play whatever he/she wants to. The true point is in games, not in sales or hardware. I will wait for a lot more of games to come to both consoles, and see which suits me better.
As for now, the winner for me (and I want to make an enphasis on ME) is the 3DS. My reason is simple: I dont have too much interest in the kind of games Vita offers to me, since -in terms of N4G users- I'm not that "hardcore" and I dont play adventure/action games lik...
