Blizzard has pretty much single handedly popularized the "games as a service model" back in the day with WoW. And now they've popularized loot box MTs with Overwatch albeit as cosmetic items only. Sure their practices aren't nearly as shady as EA's right now but they are setting the trends and are part of the problem. Goty is probably going to be decided between Super Mario Odyssey and Zelda BotW. Persona 5 would definitely deserve it too. Horizon would've had a good chance if it wasn't for the insane competition this year. PubG is a laughable nominee conidering all of the issues the game has had recently especially when games like Divinity OS2, Nier Automata, Nioh, Resident Evil 7, Wolfenstein 2 and Cuphead also came out this year.
I agree it's really confusing with all these last minute changes and with the lootbox system you never know what you get so I guess it's impossible to say how long it'll take for an individual player to unlock everything. Far Cry and Crysis 1 were very good games. Too bad that Crytek games got progressively worse as time went by. Crysis 2 and 3 while enjoyable games weren't nearly as good as Crysis 1. And Ryse was a disaster. I had to force myself to keep playing for 2 hours but eventually I gave up.
A friend of mine who is a PC only gamer didn't buy a PS4 Pro because it can't output at 1440p. It's definitely an oversight by Sony to ignore monitor users.

That's why I don't understand why he would tweet about it at all before reporting it to the police. If anything he should've let the police investigate and come out about it after the investigation is over. He is making a very serious claim here. Without any evidence such a claim is simply not believable and will only cause unnecessary trouble for everyone involved.
They've improved already. It sits at around 5.5 frames on PS4 and at around 4 frames on PC with Vsync turned off. Obviously there is still room for improvement especially on the PS4 but it's not really a problem anymore. 4 frames is pretty much the best you can realistically hope for.
How is this relevant? You still only need one disc for the full game. The player-base will stay intact. So I'd say they've kept their promise so far. This is as much a new game as Horizon: Zero Dawn Complete edition is (or any other Goty version with bundled in dlc for that matter).
