Please explain to me why would anyone compare those two games? It doesn't make any sense to me.
One is a online first person shooter and the other is an offline open world third person action game.
Does anyone know if you have to play the predecessors to understand what's going on. I don't own a PS3 but I want to pick up a PS4 and that game looks pretty fun.
I have a buddy who has a PS3 and I guess I could play through the first two games (or were there more?) with him if it's nessessary. I'd also like to know how long the predecessors were.
They should've worked on it before they released it. What's up with all the horribly optimized games recently? I hope those cross gen titles won't be made much longer. If even Activision, EA and Square Enix can't manage to release a working and fairly well optimized game on 5-6 platforms I don't think anyone should even attempt it.
Maybe Ubisoft can show them how it's done. I guess we'll find out when Watch Dogs releases.
Quadruplicate.
To be fair it isn't an Xbox One third party exclusive. It is on PC and Xbox 360 as well. With deals like that it's not so much about getting the game (they would've gotten it anyway). It's all about keeping it away from their competition which is kinda stupid if you think about it.
MS basically spent a lot of money just to keep it away from Sony platforms.
The only thing that is sad that people are close minded. Your lifestyli isn't for everyone you know? Just because you live a standard life doesn't mean everybody has to.
Believe it or not but what we call feelings is nothing more than electric signals interpreted by our brain. If we could get true intelligence computers (meaning they learn new things without being programmed for it) they could actually develop preferences and maybe even a personality.
I know it sounds like science fiction but what is normal nowadays was science fiction a couple hundred years ago. I'm pretty sure the human race won't stop until we can actually take th...
I really hope we will. However I think we're at least 20 years away from such a technology. The only thing I fear is that people will spend more time in virtual reality than in real life up to the point where VR becomes our reality and we lose touch with real life.
I loled at "ric3fry3r".
But I agree there is a reason why we're using 1080p TVs. If you're considering that we're going to keep those consoles for the next 6 years the least it's nice to have a console that can at least put out a resolution that should be a standard today.
That'S honestly what has put me off from the Xbox One in the end. 900p in some cases can be accepted but the majority should be 1080p imo. 720p is not acceptab...
Who cares if it's 5.6 or 5.4 or whatever. All I need to know is that it's selling like a mofo. It's by far the fastest selling console ever released which means that Sony will make tons of cash to invest in first party games.
Even as a high end PC gamer my jaw dropped after seeing the Order 1886 gameplay (hope it remains that quality). I'll buy the PS4 just for that. I still have my 600 bucks that I intended to spend on the Xbone (now I'm glad I didn'...
What qualifies you to define what a real gamer cares about again? A game that runs at 30fps and above is enough for most games to provide a fluid gameplay expirience. 60fps is only needed for fast paced games. But even then a stable framerate is more important than a high unstable one.
As someone who invests quite a lot of money in my PC I've had both, high resolution and high framerate most of the time. But as consoles are designed to be affordable for more people gamers...
People don't need to stop. 720p might have been ok for 2005-2006 consoles but 1080p is a must for this gen considering you're stuck with them for the next 5-6 at least.
60fps is nice but more of a luxury thing. It's not needed for most of the games. I'll take 1080p at 30fps over 720p at 60fps in most cases.
Thanks. I'll look into them. Helpful bubble for you.
Now that I know that Ryse is getting bad reviws I'm glad that I cancelled my X1 preorder since it was the only game that I really wanted. Still haven't used the money on anything. I was thinking about getting a PS4 instead but it doesn't have enough to offer right now for me to spend $400 on the console. I'm not sure about the upcoming titles cause I haven't been following the news regarding PS4 games but I'll look into that. If someone could post me a list of some pot...
I won't be upgrading just yet. I'll wait about a year or so and then get a new Motherboard + new RAM and maybe a new graphics card with GDDR6.
Yeah I cancelled mine as well. Are you getting a PS4 instead?
@Stick89: I was thinking about putting the money in my PC but I have a GTX 680 and I don't see a reason to upgrade that yet. The rest of the hardware is fine too. Only thing I could imagine would be upgrading to 16GB RAM but I don't think that's nessessery either.
I think I'll look into some PS4 games in the upcoming days as I haven't really paid much attention to them since I had my X1 preordered. I saw BF4 on the PS4 and I have to admit that I was quite...
I just cancelled my preorder. The only game I really wanted was Ryse but that's not worth buying a console for. After seeing how BF4 and CoD perform on the X1 I was already thinking about cancelling the preorder. But now that it's been confirmed that Dead Rising is 720p 30fps I really can't pay $500 for a console like that anymore.
I am mainly a PC gamer but I wanted to buy a console to play games on my 1080p TV. I don't want to play all the games upscaled. Th...
Ok so you're saying only Sony fans are complaining about stuff like that? I have my Xbox One preordered but stuff like this really makes me think twice. I mainly game on PC but I want my "next gen" console to be able to put out 1080 at least on almost every game. If it's 900p I can accept it in some cases like with Ryse cause that game really looks good Or BF4 on PS4 but CoD 720p really?
720p shouldn't even be an option for next gen games honestly. I wa...
Nice. Got my PS4 today and plan to pick up infamous. Never played the first two installments cause I've been gaming almost exclusively on PC since 2002. This is exactly what i was looking for.
Edit: after watching the video I'm actually really hyped for Infamous Second Son. The plot sounded really interessting.
