The publisher doesn't nearly get $60 per game though.
I'd rather have a new setting again. Maybe futuristic dystopia or lovecraftian cyberpunk in space or even post apocalyptic setting. There are a lot of possibilities. I'd love to see Bloodborne 2 too though.
No, not at all. Sometimes bad games or movies can be entertaining as well.
Oh, I didn't know that he's on contract til January. Maybe you're right then. I certainly hope so cause I'm really enjoying MGS V. I'm not really huge on the MGS storyline though since I haven't played MGS 4 and Peace Walker and can't remember all the detail from MGS 1-3 but if there are some plotholes that could be explained through an expansion then that's one more reason why they should make it happen.
That would requiere him to work with Konami again. I doubt that's ever going to happen again. The reason why Kojima got fired was probably that MGS V would take to much money and time to complete. I don't see Konami giving Kojima the budget to complete the missing chapter tbh.
Premature ejaculation huh?
Dragoncraft: Minequest?
I disagree. Best games for me this year have been Bloodborne, The Witcher 3, Batman: AK and MGSV so far. And MGSV can definately compete with the others. For me it's easily a Goty contender.
No game is untouchable and too high expectations can ruin everything. But in the end everyone is responsible to keep their own expectations in check. Hype doesn't really affect me at all.
And I enjoy the heck out of this game. Probably Goty for me so far.
Are you implying that existing franchises aren't allowed to change? It IS a brand new game even though it is a sequel to an existing franchise.
I personally rather have a sequel feel fresh than having it feel stale. Obviously MGSV has taken the franchise into a different direction and it's not surprising that some people will prefer the style of the old games but if you look at it objectively you can't deny that it is an excellent game.
The game is getting critical acclaim across the board. It's probably the best game I've played this year and that's saying a lot when it's the year The Witcher 3, Bloodborne and Batman: AK came out.
I wonder what would need to happen for you to be sold on it.
@benji101: How has this been proven? Show me the evidence. Even if it might be true in some cases you still don't have the right to steal the game. The whole argument is ridiculous either way. If you weren't planning on buying the game anyway Then don't freaking play the game.
How did you put Fallout 4 above all the other games when the game isn't even out yet?
My ranking for this year so far:
1. tied between Bloodborne and Witcher 3
2. Batman: AK
3. Dying Light
Haven't finished MGS V yet but so far it looks like it might take the crown.
Just out of curiosity, Who would be the other 2 in your opinion?
They didn't invent VR either. The concept of a head mounted display for VR gaming exists for decades. Both Oculus Rift and Morpheus are going to take VR to the next level.
Trolls exist outside of the console wars. Most of his comments are negative. I remember him hating on MGSV way before release so he probably hasn't played the game.
@ratrace: Because I find it disrespectful to complain about an artist putting credits on his product. Why would you complain about him being proud to give us such an amazing game?
Congrats. You've found a completely insignificant little detail to complain about. Maybe when you're done complaining you might actually think about why Hideo Kojima, a man that has passionately worked on a game series his whole life would do such a thing in the last entry of the franchise. Especially under the circumstances that he hass left the company he has been working for. Here is a hint: Maybe Konami's attempt to take the credit away from him by removing his name from the b...
In that case you should check out Teslagrad if you like 2D platformers with interessting puzzles. I have it on PC and it's a really great game.
Seems more like a wild guess than any real indication of Warcraf 4 to me. Warcraft 4 would be great though.
