I have to disagree with Tomb Raider being a shadow of it's former self. I've played every single major Tomb Raider game and the reboot is my favorite by far. This comes from someone who hasn't played any of the Uncharted games so I didn't have to get over any similarities between both games (since you said it tries to be Uncharted).

I can tell you exactly what the difference is. 60fps means lower latency and therefore faster response. Your answer tells me that you care about the fluid animations at higher framerates more than for higher response times.
Still going for 1080p at 50-60fps gives you 3.3ms more latency when the framerate drops. In comparison going for 1080p at 30fps ...

I think going for 1080p at 50-60fps is definately the better option in this specific case. Diablo isn't exactly the game that requires super fast reactions. At 60 fps you have about 16.7ms/frame. At 50 fps it's 20ms/f. So the difference is just above 3 ms in cases where the framerate drops to 50fps which is rarely the case. That's pretty much irrelevant especially to a game like Diablo 3.

clunky and slow animation? I thought the animations were pretty good. I really liked that game. The only thing I didn't like about it was the somewhat dull story but other than that it was pretty good imo.

Yeah. Especially after PC gamers have spent $50 million dollars on that game. Microsoft would have to be borderline suicidal to pull off such a stunt especially after the Tomb Raider fiasco.

While I don't think that Fez was a great game, it wasn't a bad game either. The concept was actually really interessting however the execution didn't utilize it's full potential imo. That's why people want a sequel I guess. Phish is just being a douche about it like always.
You could say the same thing about every single game that has ever existed. This doesn't even mean that it's the best game of all time. It only means that more people have voted for it on this site.

@Cobra: I don't think the price should be a reason for most people especially with the PS4. As long as it keeps selling that well I really don't see Sony dropping the price. So in the end you might end up waiting 2 years for a $100 price drop.
The only reason I can think of is if you're still undecided on which console to get. But even then you should've enough information to make a decision.

@Foxtrot: I liked most of the Tomb Raider games but I was expecting a reimagination of the series with the reboot and I think they did an excellent job with that. If anything I'd be disappointed if it was like the old games. Not because I didn't like them but because it's a reboot. A reboot should shake things up imo.
