Yeah I wish we could use controllers with PCs. Oh wait.
Download by hacking? Yeah sounds legit./s
Pirating isn't a PC only problem. It's just easier to do on PC that's why it's a bigger problem there. But stereotypical thinking is easier I guess.
@thehitman1398: What facts are you talking about? I've tried VR on multiple occasions and I've noticed that the experience is much more sensitive to unstable framerates and needs a higher framerate in general to be enjoyable.
VR basically tricks you brain. If something is off like the camera movement, the latency is too high or the framerates too low you can get motion sick really quick or at the very least the experience won't be enjoyable. I never get motion sic...
I'm still not convinced that VR is doable on current gen consoles. VR requires well above 60fps to feel good and I doubt that any console can achieve that right now. I'm sure they planned Project Morpheus with PS5 in mind though when VR will be much easier to achieve within the console and mid ranged PC spectrum.
I hear that a lot (also about ign). I just wonder where are all the Xbox fans at then? They must be somewhere too right?
OT: I would've expected Batman to be even higher. Persona 5 on 6th place surprised me the most tbh.
Also Zelda on 3rd and Xenoblade on 7th place despite the lower Wii-U install base. Seems like there's a lot of Nintendo "fanboys" there too. /s
@No_Limit:
There is absolutely nothing wrong with people not listing a single game of a platform they don't own. Why would someone be looking foreward to a game he can't play anyway?
But you'd expect a more mixed list from someone who allegedly has all consoles. His list barely has multiplatform games and only one PS4 game while he seems to be hyped for pretty much every single major X1 exclusive. He also doesn't mention a single Wii-U game. ...
While I generally agree with what you said I think that everyone is missing out on great games regardless. If you have more platforms you will more likely end up buying less games for each individual platform. So you're getting all the heavy hitters but most likely miss out on more less-promoted gems unless you have an absurd amount of time to play games.
I only have a PC and a PS4 and can barely keep up with the games on those two platforms. I think that the Wii-U and X1...
You just said that you're still using Windows XP like a week ago. Must be a great gaming PC you're using.
And then there is this: http://n4g.com/news/1646671...
That definately looks like a list of an unbiased multiplatform gamer./s
A weird move by MS for sure. They better have some aces up their sleeves for 2015. Not that I care about sales numbers all that much but could you imagine what would happen if Sony would cut the price to $350 now. That would be hilarious.
15 bucks a month is a pretty good deal for a subscribtion like this. I'd definately try it out for that price if it was availiable in europe.
Looks more like low res scans than jaw dropping screenshots to me.
@FriedGoat: Most engines are a lot more open than people realise meaning it's fairly easy to modify specific aspects or add from external software sources. It all depends on how much you want to tweak it. It has actually become quite difficult to tell wether or not some game is using a specific engine.
As for the outdoor environments I suggest you take a look at The vanishing of Ethan Carter which has beautiful outdoor environments and uses Unreal Engine.
Sadly it's very unlikely that the happiness will last for long. It's very doubtful that the fbi will catch all of them but even if they do others will continue what they've started.
Ddos attacks will become more common in the future. The only way to prevent some of the chaos will be to allow monitoring and analysing of sent and received data by the ISPs. So less freedom for more safety in the end.
@Tibbers: Yeah absolutely. I've just pointed that out because his comment made it seem like they only added the graphical effects.
The weather doesn't just affect the visuals though. It has an impact on the handling as well.
I've got the game in it's first week and put it on the side because of the multiplayer issues. Now that I've finished GTA V and Far Cry 4 I decided to pick it up and try it out again.
Man that game is a blast. The weather brings in so much more depth to the gameplay. The online is really fun now that it works and the graphics are phenomenal. I can definately recommend Driveclub now.
@nucky64: There are a lot of great games that are PC exclusive as well. Every platform has it's pros and cons. I for one am very happy with my PC + PS4 combo. I'd get a Wii-U as well if I had the time to play more games.
My most anticipated PS4 exclusives of 2015:
5. Rime - Beautiful artstyle. I really like the vibe I got from the trailers.
4. Drawn to Death - My favorite announement from the PSX. I really like arena shooters and Drawn to Death looks unconventional and fresh.
3. Uncharted 4 - I haven't played any Uncharted games before but I'm a huge Tomb Raider (reboot) fan and this looks to be a very similar type of game. The recent gameplay demo lo...
@OpieWinston
Because Microsoft owning an IP means it's impossible for it to end up on Windows right?
Makes sense. /s
Phil Spencer keeps talking about how he wants to support PC gaming so it's not too crazy to think it might come to PC as well.
@Maxor: Depends on your definition of groundbreaking. The next big groundbreaking thing in gaming will likely be VR. Anyway 2015 will be an excellent year for gamers.
Besides all the Megaton AAA games we'll be getting a lot of unique "smaller" titles such as: No Man's Sky, The Witness, Let it Die, Volume, Everybody's gone to the Rapture, The tomorrow children, Wild, Rime, Ori, Cuphead, Inside, Below, Mighty No. 9, Splatoon, Mario Maker, Yoshi's Wool...
